27 July 2024 / Cape Coral , Fl…read more Just returned home from the local Dollar Tree store. I ran in to purchase some room "air fresheners" for the house. While there I noticed a hand lotion product that I usually buy at the local Publix store. It was an off brand , but the same product with twice the content , 16 Fl Onces instead of 7.5. While waltzing down an aisle I spotted a large lonely bag of buttered popcorn. It appeared so lonely and sad I just had to buy it. You know , to nibble on while watching a Saturday Hallmark Movie. Lol. In total , I purchased six (6) items. Total purchase price , $7.50 + tax. I thought to myself , when was the last time I made a purchase of 6 items for less than $8.00 ??? I was so excited I felt like a little girl enjoying her first ice cream cone. lol Of course , being a man , I don't usually get excited. ( Unless my Team wins the Super Bowl ) lol. There was a short line in front of me but the lady cashier was sooo speedy fast at ringing up every item that I was out of there rápido. All in all I had an enjoyable experience shopping at Dollar Tree. It was In & Out ... without the burger and fries Lol. I'll be back Dollar Tree. In these inflationary times I found a place where my Dollar goes a long way ... The Dollar Tree !!!

I've been to so many Dollar Tree stores that after a while they all seem to run together…read more We were visiting friends in the area and had stopped nearby to one of our favorite thrift stores. As we needed a couple items, we decided to stop in. The parking lot of this shopping strip is huge. I'm not sure what was located here before, but there's no problem whatsoever finding a space. The store itself was not very busy. The store was quite well organized -- that is unusual in itself. Most shelves were full and there was almost not stock in the aisles to be added. We haven't even celebrated Thanksgiving and the store is already in full Christmas supply mode. If you need it, if you can think of it, or if you want it, or even if you don't, they have the "perfect" Christmas items for your decor, decorating, or gifting. Since we are not often in this area, we may not ever return here. But if we were nearby and needed some of the items they stock then yes, we would return.

Two employees working in different aisles were talking to each other very loud (across the two aisles). It was quite distracting. Plus they were restocking and it was hard to get around them. I did manage to buy most of the greeting cards I will need over the next two months. It is quite a value when you can find good cards 2 for $1. I also got some birthday gift bags, bag stuffers and sinus and congestion pain pills. I would buy eye drops but for some reason, they have stopped stocking them. Right now (mid-August), you can find fall, Halloween and Christmas merchandise.

It's remarkable this particular location of dollar tree stays in business at all. Merchandise is scattered around the floor & shelves look like a tornado has gone through the store - and each one of these operations in Lee County is maintained with the same disregard for sanitation. I suppose they will continue to do well because there will always be a lot of people who are willing to put up with the appearance of these shops in order to buy things for $1.25. No one can be blamed for looking for a good value, but whoever owns these properties Just seems to have a complete disregard for the appearance of these places or maybe they've tried in the past and just decided it's not worth it customers throw junk on the floor. I recently returned from a trip to Oceanside California and had to get a few things that had been confiscated by the airport Security folks. by comparison, the store in Oceanside, California could be compared to any Publix or other shop where people would enjoy spending a few minutes to pick up simple supplies. That description cannot be applied to any of these in Lee County.
