WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!! Dollar General- in general. They have no clue on how to keep employees happy. Way behind in the retail world. They think a regular associate can survive on 15-18 hours a week , with a family??!!?? NO wonder the turn over rate is so high. New face every time you go in. Most of the time management is required to work by their self . Wonder why your getting robbed?? Well this Dollar General is back to the way it was Before 2015. You cannot walk the isles , hardly product to buy , get this now instead of actually seeing a person when you walk in there is a squeeze dog toy on the counter that says squeeze For service. They wouldn't know if the president of the company or president of the United States walked in. It's a complete embarrassment compared to August 2015 to July 2017. People with blue hair and rings in their nose to chase down so you can check out. Absolutely amazing home headquarters... kudos to you . Your stores and district managers are a reflection of you which shows me .... You simply do not care what they look like , how the people shopping there are treated , nothing matters . Just open another one cut everyone else's hours from other stores to open it and move on. Bravo to you. And from personal experience at this Store now.. not 1 person has customer service skills AT ALL. Lost in space. read more

When this place as announced, local people were excited to not have to drive 10 miles into town for basics. Since its opening it has had countless managers....each one the same as the last....if not worse. Why no one cares about this place puzzles me. Totes are always clogging up the front end, trash and clothing is always on the floor and full and empty boxes and rolltainers litter the aisles. Heather is the only one that knows how to smile and greet customers. The DM was heard expressing that it's to far out to worry about. This is a busy little store, being so close to several state parks. I think it's time to get some real leadership in this store and guide it into the huge success it can be. Update December 29, 2020. The store is More organized, cleaner, and friendly people staff. If there are items in the aisle, give them a few hours and they will be put up. Corporate headquarters are the ones who allow them enough staff or not. Great place to shop. read more
