That ended this weekend, I had my son who sits in the cart with me an our cashier just began throwing items into the other cart an rudely asked for MY cart. I had to stand there UNLOAD everything I brought in with me and switch. This is huge inconvenience for me and anyone waiting behind me. As an adult, I actually tolerate TJ Maxx now and I appreciate it for what it is - a discount department store chain. You can find some good deals on name brand apparel and goods here. I've been to this TJ Maxx in Statesboro a couple times. My girlfriend was considering buying some Samsonite carry-on luggage at this store. I like Samsonite, but I wasn't impressed with the rolling bags here. The selection and quality weren't the best. When it comes to luggage, you get what you pay for. I prefer Travelpro these days. We weren't able to find any of the dry shampoo my girlfriend likes, but she did purchase a bunch of bottles of hand soaps for her apartment. They had all sorts of varieties that looked unique. I browsed through the men's clothing section and didn't see anything of note. We did pick up a bag of what looked and tasted like green tea Werther's sitting on a shelf near the check-out counter. They did not taste good. Service has been good. This TJ Maxx is located at the Statesboro Crossing shopping center near Statesboro Mall and Walmart. Other big box retailers at this shopping center include Ulta, Petco, Books-A-Million, Rack Room Shoes, and Hobby Lobby. The shopping center is clean and looks well-maintained. I'm sure I'll be back.

This Walmart store marks a couple firsts for me:…read more 1. This is the first Walmart Neighborhood Market I've been to. 2. This is the first Walmart gas station I've filled up at. There are over 700 Walmart Neighborhood Market stores. These stores are significantly smaller in scope and scale than standard (and massive) Walmart Supercenters. They're more comparable to grocery store chains like Kroger, focusing on groceries, pharmacies, and fuel. This one has a bakery and stocks organic and natural selections. The store is relatively new. It opened Wednesday, December 17, 2014. It's open 24/7. I filled up at the gas station out front. It's got 12 pumps and offers diesel fuel. The station was clean and the pumps were in good condition. On 3/25/2017, premium fuel at this station cost $2.689 per gallon. On 3/23/2017, I filled up at a QuikTrip in Suwanee for $2.399 per gallon (premium). On 3/27/2017, I filled up at a QuikTrip in Marietta for $2.569 per gallon (premium). I'm not sure why the gas at this country Walmart was more expensive than the gas at QTs in the Atlanta suburbs. Walmart also charges for air for your tires unlike QT. In the end though, I think this Walmart Neighborhood Market is A-OK.

Although there was only one person working the store, she was consistently checking in on everyone & made me feel immediately welcome & valued. This is your standard, massive, open-24/7, Walmart Supercenter. It's located next to Statesboro…read moreMall and, outside of Georgia Southern, has probably made this area the unofficial city center of Statesboro, Georgia. This place has everything you need from fresh produce, clothing, and prescription drugs to garden decor, video games, and pet fish. Yes, for many years, they've actually carried an assortment of live pet fish here. You can get your flu shot at the Walmart pharmacy, fill up on gas at the Walmart gas station, get your hair done at the salon, pick up food from the Walmart bakery and deli, and rent a movie from Redbox. Why would you need to go anywhere else? Seriously though, this place is huge with a giant parking lot to boot. I've heard this is one of Walmart's busiest stores. It's certainly one of the busiest I've ever been to. As you might imagine, the parking lot was littered with trash and the inside of the store was messy and worn -- nothing really out of the ordinary for this notorious big-box chain. During our visit, Bulloch County police cars were parked outside the storefront and officers were patrolling the store inside. In addition, this store has heavy video surveillance. I'm not sure if it's more surveillance than the typical Walmart Supercenter, but they definitely let it be known that you're being recorded, underneath bright lights and all. Have a good time.

I was quickly approached by a friendly sales associate which helped me find what I was looking for. The shoe i wanted they were out of but was told I could order and have sent to my house for free. The associate passed me off to the cashier who was also very helped and Pleasant, she quickly helped me and in no time had the shoes ordered and paid for. I was told I would receive them in 2 weeks but they arrived after ordering only 1 week. I could not be more pleased with the service in store and with the promptness of the shipping.
