I want to begin by expressing my sincere appreciation for the manager, who, in my opinion, is unquestionably one of this store's greatest assets. She is consistently courteous, approachable, attentive, and genuinely invested in her customers. She has a rare ability to make people feel welcomed and valued. If you ask her where an item is located, she does not merely point toward an aisle; she will walk you directly to it, locate the merchandise herself, or make every effort to assist you. She works extraordinarily hard, and as someone who has observed her dedication for many years, I sometimes wonder whether Dollar General as a company truly recognizes how much she contributes. I cannot speak to what happens behind the scenes, but from a customer's perspective, her diligence and commitment are unmistakable. Her work deserves genuine recognition and appreciation. Dollar General is fortunate to have her. I would also like to commend the redheaded employee, who is consistently kind, courteous, and helpful. She has personally told me, "God bless, be safe, and have a nice day," and those small expressions of kindness make a lasting impression. Recently, I was standing in line while only one register was operating. Although this is not unusual, the staff has historically been very efficient at keeping the line moving. On this occasion, a newer employee was assisting the same customer for what seemed like an unusually long period of time. While I was waiting, the redheaded employee recognized that additional customers needed assistance, opened another register, and efficiently cashed out three or four customers while the newer employee was still assisting that same individual. To me, that demonstrated initiative, efficiency, and genuine consideration for customers. Unfortunately, I must also address conduct that has increasingly contributed to an atmosphere in which I sometimes feel unwelcome. There is one particular employee whose demeanor can be abrasive, dismissive, and seemingly indicative of someone who does not wish to interact with the public. I understand that everyone has difficult days, but anyone working in a customer-facing position should still maintain a reasonable degree of professionalism and courtesy. My wife personally witnessed this employee yelling and using profanity toward another Dollar General employee. While I understand workplace disagreements occur and I was not personally present for the entire incident, such behavior is nevertheless concerning. This same employee also frequently wears cut-off shirts displaying phrases along the lines of "F*** off," "If you don't like it, oh well," and "You don't have to like me." Everyone has different personalities and styles, but when that type of language is combined with an attitude that can make customers feel like an inconvenience, it creates an unpleasant impression. My concern is not simply about clothing; it is the cumulative effect of the language, demeanor, and conduct. A business serving the public should strive to maintain an environment that is welcoming, respectful, and professional. I am not writing this review because I dislike Dollar General. Quite the contrary--I am writing because I have remained a loyal customer for many years and genuinely want this location to succeed. I have tremendous appreciation for the manager and for those employees who consistently demonstrate kindness, efficiency, patience, and professionalism. However, loyalty should not be taken for granted. When longtime customers repeatedly experience a disparity between employees who make them feel genuinely welcome and others whose behavior leaves them uncomfortable or disregarded, it eventually becomes difficult to overlook. I sincerely hope Dollar General management receives this review in the constructive spirit intended. This is not an attempt to personally disparage anyone, but rather an appeal for greater professionalism, accountability, consistency, and recognition. There are genuinely exceptional people working at this location, and I would hate to see their dedication overshadowed by the conduct of a few. Most importantly, I hope Dollar General recognizes the tremendous effort of the manager, because her dedication is noticed and appreciated by longtime customers like myself. I simply believe every customer deserves to be treated with dignity, courtesy, patience, and respect, and the employees who consistently provide that level of service deserve to be recognized and valued.

Loud, inappropriate music blaring from a cheap staticky radio is the norm, and a sales associate can rarely be located until a bell is rung numerous times.
