I felt compelled to leave a review here after sharing my experience on Google. Bob is putting…read morecustomers purposely in dangerous and uncomfortable situations. The disturbing behavior I witnessed during my visit, particularly from Bob, who seemed unstable and in need of mental health support. What struck me when I got home was the consistency of similar negative stories from others, including allegations of racism, profiling, and unprofessional conduct from staff and management. We considered taking legal action, as we were told we had a solid case from what we witnessed, but to be honest, we don't want to waste our time on people like this. They're not worth our energy - their behavior is beneath contempt. Instead, we're exposing the truth about their actions and the disturbing incidents we've witnessed. We'd gain nothing from revisiting such evil, but we'll ensure the world knows and continues to know the truth. They're repulsive, and we won't dignify their existence with further engagement. Going forward, we'll make sure to forever hold them accountable, warning others about the kind of gross business they run and the toxic environment they've created. Some of the employees here are down right dangerous and don't even deserve the minimum wage this company decided to pay them for the nasty things they do to customers.

For example, I bought a metal banana stand for $1.00; Wal Mart sells a wooden banana stand for $8.00 or so. 90% of the items Lucky Dollar sells actually cost $1.00 The other 10% sells for around $2.00. They carry a variety of merchandise such as: kitchen tools, hair care products, office supplies, small hardware supplies, pet supplies, party supplies, greeting cards, small flashlights, pocket knives, batteries, snacks, sewing supplies, etc. The savings are substantial and well worth your time.

I had a great time in the store on Wednesday. Their customer service was outstanding. The two young ladies were very helpful with helping to suggest items I should purchase. I purchased many items on Wednesday for a large group trip I am sponsoring. After I purchased the items, I realized on Thursday that I no longer needed the six packs of Lance crackers, so I decided to return them on my way out on Friday. Of course, Ollie's was very busy because it was Black Friday. I stood in line because I had no choice. Once I got to the register, I was told that they are not doing returns because they were busy. I advised them that I am out of town and on my way out. The manager/supervisor Jeffery, reluctantly took me to another register to process the return. He reviewed the receipt and the six boxes of crackers which were $2.59 a box and confirmed that my refund would go back to my AMEX. Jeffery gave me the receipt and it was only $9 and change. I told him that I didn't think that was correct, and Jeffery abrasively pointed to the receipt and told me see look that is what it came out to. I told him that I was not saying you are wrong, but I calculated it differently in my head. Then Jeffery told me to have a blessed day. I was not feeling well, so I said, you too, and left out. I later reviewed the receipt and saw that he returned the 1st item on the receipt which was only $1 and change. I did not even get six of those items. I later called AMEX to put in a dispute. They took my information and instantly reimbursed my money. I like Ollie's but I will not return to this one.
