Only one person at the desk and she was talking for a hr about personal business in stead of working got here at 4:30 and my husband was here before me since 3:30 and been on the same person since then. They close at 5pm as well !! It is clean and smells clean. Over all They couldn't even give us a quote that day . She needs more people to help so she can have personal conversations. read more

We heard the radio advertisement that you can get a loan and if it your first loan there's no interest if paid in the first week. We were denied because were self employed. There was no information saying that you needed a paycheck to qualify for the loan. I sent them the tax return for last year and 2 bank statements, but that wasn't enough for them. When we first started the application process no one said you needed a paycheck to qualify. We found out this after being denied. We only needed the one week loan like was advertised. I feel DLC knew we would pay it back in a week so it wasn't worth loaning to us. They wanted payments for a year with 200.5% interest . Don't trust DLC. read more

NOT EVEN WORTH ONE STAR! I paid off my loan on February 20 at 1:20 pm. I even repeated "paid in full " 3 times to make sure that there was no misunderstanding. An hour later I got a call saying that I owed more money. The girl who called giggled and said that she was new and made a mistake. I was already at work so I couldn't do anything until the next day. The next day I went there on my way to work and a guy was working. It was about 2 pm. When I told him my name he apologized and said that "there was a glitch in the system but everything is fine. He insisted that the loan was PAID IN FULL. I asked him 3 times "are you sure?" He said absolutely, there is no balance remaining. As I was walking out the door I said I better not get another call saying I owe more money and he said "I assure you it is all taken care of." Now it is March 8 and I got a call saying that my payment is overdue! I AM BEYOND PISSED!!! read more

The application process itself was really quick and easy. After approval however the payments have been a nightmare. I've tried to pay online, but the associate entered my email wrong stopping me from accessing my account. Tried to call the store to pay, but couldn't get a hold of a rep, so I paid through their automated phone system. All for them to have no record of this payment. Im not trying to avoid making my payment but unless you have the ability to go in and pay in person every time it's gonna be a huge frustrating hassle. read more

I don't know if I am posting about the right DLC, but there appears to be no way to differentiate between them on Yelp. In any case, here is my most recent experience with them - I would like to report a very negative experience with Dollar Loan Center here in Reno, Nevada. About a week ago, I began the online process of applying for a loan with DLC. I had used DLC about 10 years ago but I recently saw your new commercials where you claim the whole process is quick, easy, (about 30min) and all online "no eye contact" I believe is the claim. Nothing cold be farther from the truth. I tried to upload the documents requested - Drivers Lic., pay stubs and proof of address (which is onn my drivers license in the first place). Anyway, the section of your website where you upload documents is terrible. It does not tell you whether or not the documents are uploaded or not, and admittedly, I guess I did not properly scan the proof of address document so I re-scanned and uploaded it this morning. I was told (this morning about 10am) I would be contacted shortly with a response to my loan request. I was also told I might have to come into the office for some reason. I received no contact from DLC so at about 16:35 today, I called DLC and spoke with Andrea. She asked me who I spoke to this morning but I told her I could not remember the girls name but it was this morning (around 10AM or so). Andrea put me on hold and when she came back, she started asking me a number of questions that were not requested of me during the application process. I started to answer the questions but she kept adding more questions so I said to her I thought this process was supposed to be quick and easy and that the process has been taking about week since I started and that is not quick and easy. She said they have been trying to call me all that time and I did not respond. I told that is not true that I have spoke to a couple of people from DLC. I spoke to someone last Thursday and again on Saturday on your 800 phone number. I told Andrea to forget the loan request as I don't really need the money that I was just trying to get reestablished with DLC but I can see the process is far more complicated than your commercials advertised so I said to forget it and Andrea's attitude was (in my opinion) that she could care less. She made zero attempt to keep me as a customer and that is terrible customer service as she is the direct reason I withdrew my loan application. I don't think DLC needs employees costing you business like that, or maybe DLC doesn't really care if they make a loan or not? Either way, I don't care. Like I said, I didn't need the loan, I was was trying to get re-established but its clear you do not want someone like me as a customer - so be it, but I will be sharing my negative experience with all my friends, co-workers and relatives. read more

Nora was amazing, she answered all my questions. She was super friendly and I could tell she really loves her job. Inside Dollar Loan Center the facility was ice and clean. Right when you walk in you can feel the wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Dollar Loan Center, and if at all possible ask for Norma. read more

I am clean creditor and had a score of 720 down to 528! But, when I borrowed here, I asked specifically if my name was clear from a previous loan I cleared in the time of the contract. The rep said "yes to my request for $150.00" the very next day I saw on MyBankrate my hard earned score was hit by my info in someone else's hands in the sister office in Las Vegas. I have written docs stating all was good to borrow and they would not allow borrowing if one is in collection . Well, it says that in the contract. Apparently, not so. I have proof of clearing a previous loan,So the hit my credit was fictitious. I keep all the proof of my contracts and receipts. My creditor was ripped off.Yes, money is needed now,but I would think hard if a fake hits your creditor. read more

Store used to be a good store until they switched managers and team members and also the regional managers . They also treat their employees like shit . They just also fired a girl for being pregnant and having complications and missing work . I wouldn't even give one star but it made me . Wouldn't recommend this store or company in general . All they care about is money and nothing else. read more
