Sometimes it's not the $ but the principle. It's a dollar or few, no big deal. If I didn't use the pizza shop, I wouldn't have even gone back for the refund attempt. Again, it was 4 bucks. Imho Terrible service. I only spent $4 luckily. Bought gift card envelopes on 12/19/25. Went to return it 1/2/26 when I was told returns are available for only 7 days. She even went back to talk to her manager I believe Wawa is longer than 7 days, actually 30 days lol. What store does that now, this f'n store. NEVER will patronize this place again. Make sure you like what you bought, even if it's crap , OR RETURN IT WITHIN 7 DAYS. It's on the receipt, on typical tiny letters, but it's too late by that time. I'd leave zero stars if an option. I've never had a good experience here. Most recently, I called ahead because Amazon failed to deliver my daughter's 21st birthday favors on time. I asked specifically about 21st birthday sashes and was advised "yes, we have plenty." Took the trip over despite my unhappiness with previous visits. Arrived and couldn't find anything. Asked the girl behind the counter and she said "whatever we have is there." I mentioned I had called and asked specifically for 21st birthday and she reiterated her previous statement. We grabbed some ugly necklace favors only because they said "21" and ordered 2 balloons (the large 2 and 1) for $11 a piece. The 2 was already deflating by the time we got home. Nothing in this place is a dollar or two. Everything is overpriced and the service stinks. Five Below and Dollar Tree are always better options! read more

We've visited twice and got some good deals both times. This is a mom-n-pop discount store, more like a Dollar General, when you'll find many $1 items, but also items more than $1, but still at a value/bargain for their typical price elsewhere. * * * TIP * * * $5 minimum for credit card purchases. Otherwise cash only. They have a lot of overlap with Dollar Tree in terms of types of items, and price ($1), but the Dollar or Two items are not the same exact versions, meaning they have storage containers, but a different shape or color, or their travel coffee mugs are a different look, but perform the same function and have the same capacity. There are several items that are exactly the same at Dollar Tree, though, for sure. Just pay attention to the marked prices. I assumed the 12-pk mini storage containers were the same price as Dollar Tree because it was the identical product, but they were $1.50 at Dollar or Two. That said, Dollar or Two also has better-quality items (in more cases than not) than what is offered at Dollar Tree. In some cases it is a $1 item that is significantly better quality, and in others it is perhaps $1.25 or $1.50 but it is more than twice as nice, so it is still a bargain. Like Dollar Tree, this place changes a portion of their inventory with the seasons, so they can offer stock appropriate for the current weather/holiday. And also like Dollar Tree, most of the store is fixed all year with standard staples that you will need any time, and can depend on being there. I am still on a quest to find $1 silver polish... but this place has brass polish, FYI. They also have an automotive section that is bigger and much more helpful than the one at Dollar Tree. Hardware section is better here too. Technology section here also has a lot more than Dollar Tree, for sure. And their party supply / cards section is HUGE. You will find a LOT MORE here for party / holiday / cards than you will at Dollar Tree. read more

Hit or miss. Lean inventory on most items but if you want a wide assortment of items for a party (especially a kid's party) or for a large food gathering (more disposable aluminum tests than any grocery store) this is your place. Usually only one person in the store and they often know don't where much stuff is located. You just have to go around and look yourself. read more

This place is price gouging people who are already having a difficult enough time finding personal protective supplies in the Coronavirus panic. If these people think they can take advantage of citizens at their most desperate, they should expect to be treated the same way in return. Their answer, however, is that they were price gouged by a supplier, so they in turn may do the same to customers. Doing something illegal because you had it done to you (willingly) does not make it legal. They also claim to be stewards of the community by "donating a portion of it to West Chester Hospital." They are rude and the prices are extremely over-priced. I just called to ask if I can blow up my balloons for my sisters birthday and they said $1 just to blow up the balloons when to buy balloons from them and have them blown up are .50 cents. Not to mention the girl giving me an attitude when I was just trying to clarify. There is a real dollar store that is about 10 minutes away that I will be going to from now on. read more
