I was surprised to see frozen strawberries and frozen uncooked tilapia, perch, chicken and other proteins. Yes, they still have a nice collection of junk food for those of you who care. This store is conveniently located close to a Walmart so that you can do a little comparison shopping if necessary. There are items that I consistently purchase at the Dollar Store. They have the best, (according to my taste buds) natural, gluten free chicken stock, I love to purchase the White Rain, (avoid the VO5 because it is just watered done and useless) for pre-pooing my hair, I love their lip balm that literally melts on contact and is very soothing and finally I really like the Deramasil lotion, (in the tube) and today I stocked up on the advanced treatment formula. Don't let me forget the "Awesome" cleaner and yes, that is the name of the product. I had an unidentified stain on my carpet that did not come off after shampooing but when I attacked it with the Awesome and a brush, it faded significantly. This is a concentrated formula and I used it in its concentrated formula. With one more treatment, the stain should totally disappear. I really appreciated the cashier, realizing how heavy that stock is (because I bought several cartons), tripled my bag without me asking. It was easy shopping and I was out in a flash. When I asked to have my balloons filled, the store employee (female, white, glasses) told me in a snarky tone that she could only fill 10-12 of the balloons from my package. I asked if I could receive a discount for the remaining balloons she refused to fill, since there were no posted restrictions on the sign and my request (about 20 small 6-inch balloons) was hardly unreasonable. She became condescending and unprofessional; especially when other customers entered the store. She made a point of loudly saying she "couldn't help them" because she was "too busy filling too many balloons." She even commented to her coworker that she'd been "blowing up balloons all day," and when asked how many were left, said sarcastically, "too many," right in front of me. This was embarrassing, unnecessary, and incredibly unprofessional. Management or corporate needs to provide training on basic customer interaction and respect.
