I went in there to get balloons for a baby shower. The person who helped me (sorta) obviously was annoyed that she had to come to the front to help. I asked for 3 different balloons and they didn't have any of the 3 I asked for - pink heart, pink flower, and purple flower. These aren't exactly specialty balloons. The whole balloons area was a hot mess, so for all I know, DT may have those and they wouldn't know it. There were easily 15 people waiting in line and it wasn't until one person decided to want to return food to the store that held everyone up before they realized they need another cashier. Then, one of two cashiers ran out of 5's. Called for someone to help, I don't even know if she ended up getting what she need when I left 10 minutes later, also holding up the line. The store is prominent on a main drag, and apparently everyone wants to shop at 9:15 in the morning. I chalk that up to poor management and that's about it. The buck definitely stops there and there's no one else to blame. I don't intend on going to this DT ever again.

Not sure if you can give a zero for stars, but that is what this store deserves. I had an interaction with a manager that was extremely unprofessional. She was rude from the time she opened her mouth until I walked out WITHOUT my intended purchases. There were major delays in check out. I was the next in line and waited 15 minutes and began to get a bit annoyed. It was obvious by my body language and others were annoyed too. She approached me and in a rude tone said she'd check me out. I went to the other register and she started ringing me out and throwing my purchases into the bags. Not placing, throwing! Sometimes they have items from cover girl or they have name brand toothpaste. They have a small section for automotive stuff like cleaners and cheap tools. They have cards, craft items, books and stuff for teachers and an office supply section. They always have candy and cheap decorations for holidays. My girlfriend and I asked if she can take it off so we could get a different one for cheaper. She had such an attitude and said she can't void it because she ran out of daily voids. She said her manager can come in 10 minutes to take it off. Then, she's like if you want you can get candy that equals the 7 dollars. So I start to walk and I'm trying to see what candy I want since we got like 4 minutes. Then I hear her yell "hurry up buddy" and told my girlfriend "at this rate I might as well wait for my boss to get back." She was a a white girl with black hair and tattoos. Today the cashier was very backed up with my very large purchase so she asked the other service member named shavonne or something along those lines if she could please come to the register for help. Then called again about 3 minutes later for customer assistance. She casually strolls up and starts arguing right in front of about 10 customers waiting in line. My cashier laughed it off and just asked if she could just please help the customers waiting in the other line. The other lady then proceeded to tell the other patrons how disgruntled she was to be worked so hard as to there only being the two of them there. As I have said many times before, there are plenty of people who would be extremely happy to just have a job. She should be grateful to do what it is she was paid to do. I really love the store but it would be nice to deal with a little less drama. I will recommend for the products and prices and part of the customer service, but I hope they get some more or new help. When I went back in the other lady was nice to me and it seemed as if they get along but it is very unprofessional and puts the customers in an uncomfortable position when we have to hear how bad your job is and your irritations because believe me, you wouldn't want to hear me complain if you were my patient.

When I arrived I informed the older lady who was Caucasian that I have items in my car to exchange.. When I select the new items I put it in the buggy behind her (the cashier ) and informed her I was going to my car to get the exchange items and all my receipts... but neither one of the receipts I had was the one I needed.. so I couldn't exchange the items.. I do understand that policy oh well, I proceeded to take the items back to my car and was informed by a Caucasian gentleman that he couldn't look at the tape and that I couldn't take my items back to my car, because I stole those items which were in a 4 dollar tree bag( Eight plates chargers and five big candlesticks holders) that I took out of my car... so sad The supervisor (The African-American woman) came and another stock person Who told me he couldn't look at the cameras because he was putting up stock ... I told them to review the tapes and stop making accusations that I stole something. The supervisor said she was going to call the police... I said please please call the police and after that they owe me an apology the gentleman said that he's didn't Oh me anything and I had to pick up my merchandise the next day after they have time to review the video tape... after another customer told all three of the workers at dollar tree that they do have to apology if after reviewing the tapes and see that,,, 1. I walked in with nothing in my hand, 2. walked out with nothing in my hand to get the items to exchange. I was humiliated...At the end of the day the gentleman decided to give me my merchandise after all the humiliation and the other customers told them how wrong they were .. they finally gave me back the items I purchased the day before at another dollar tree .. this situation could've escalated if the police officer had came and was trigger-happy just because the Caucasian woman( The cashier) said that I sold merchandise and they didn't want to look at the cameras for proof that I didnt steal anything all because she said I did... no proof no proof whatsoever.. I'm still very upset by that experience..

I would often taken my mother there to shop when we were in the neighborhood, but the place is so horrible now she refuses to go. There is a male manager with a very rude attitude as well is a female with an even worse attitude whom I believe is a manger too. Therefore, there is no one onsite to talk to about the issues because they can care less. I'm hoping someone from corporate will see this and rectify these issues. Please help!!!!!
