On the morning of their party, we came back to buy even more balloons and supplies. We asked if they could fill a few balloons we'd purchased elsewhere and made it clear we were happy to pay whatever they charged. The answer? A flat "no." I understand stores have policies, but this location seems to have confused "policy" with "we don't care." There wasn't even the slightest attempt to help or offer an alternative. After taking hundreds of our dollars all week, they couldn't be bothered to provide a service we were willing to pay for. It's hard to imagine a business that values customers less than this one. They had every opportunity to create a loyal, repeat customer and instead chose to be rigid, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping a family on the morning of two little kids' birthday party. Customer service isn't just scanning items and taking people's money. It's about treating people with a basic level of courtesy and recognizing when a tiny bit of flexibility could make someone's day. Apparently, that's too much to ask at this location. We'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on, and I'd encourage anyone who expects even average customer service to do the same. Another dollar tree further from our home was happy help. They receive the breads every week and usually the Best before/expiry date is at most 3 days later, but it doesn't matter because I just freeze it. They also have a few staples like pasta sauce at a discount price, but their grocery section isn't that big and mostly contains unhealthy foods. The best deals are probably on household items such as kitchen tools, cleaning supply, etc.

The area is very dirty and not well maintained. Once in the store the shelves are very high and narrow. It is a very overwhelming feeling if you are sensitive to small spaces/claustrophobic. The amount of items in there is very overwhelming as well. I didn't stay long and mostly stuck to the snacks and candy. They have a large area near the check out that has candy, gum etc. Purchased an aero bar, coffee crisp, kit kit and toffee candy bar. For 4 candy bars (I either didn't get a receipt, didn't take it or lost it but it was $4.07 USD. There were 3 self check outs and one staff there to check out as well. Saw employees in aisles but only one at registers. Overall it was an underwhelming and overwhelming experience and I would not go out of my way to go back if in the area.
