Great shop with a good range of organic products. The restaurant is also excellent - a must-try.

The place is Clean and nice, the staff in welcoming and very friendly. The food was fresh and tasty. I will definitely be back to try more dishes as it was hard to decide which one to settle on. I had the Tibetan mama bowl with the Beet detox juice and a brownie. I would have all of them again.

We tried the tajine and Mediterranean salad. The tajine was ok. I've had vegetarian tajine in Morocco and it was on the bland side so maybe I shouldn't judge so harshly, but we're not in Morocco where they're doing vegetarian special for me. This is a vegetarian restaurant so I expected a little more creativity. It was mostly carrots. The Mediterranean salad had their balls on it, which we were eager to try. Also kind of tasteless. The spread (hummus) that topped the salad and the exciting looking green sauce - generally tasteless. There was a pickled item in the bowl that was nice. My dining partner had an iced matcha latte with almond milk. She didn't enjoy it much. All in all we were underwhelmed. Giving it an extra star as we appreciate vegetarian restaurants and realize we may be out of the ordinary for flavor expectations.

I have been there with a friend and her 1,5 years old daughter. It is kid-friendly and the staff is very kind and attentive. We had a soup and a veggie burger and the little one had a quinoa salad. Everything was fresh and tasty! An the prices are more than fair! The burgers are on the small side, so get two or add a soup or small salad! Definitely a place where I will bring my vegan friends when they are visiting, since in Brussels sometimes restaurants don't really get the concept of being vegan ;)

First impression of Ami is generally positive - at 1pm it was almost completely full and the menu looked tempting. Given the demand for seats, we shared a table with another guy. While we ordered drinks (interesting choices) the guy waited to order, having arrived 5 minutess ahead of us. The staff were so busy that he was completely ignored, and discreetly gave up and walked out. Not a good start! Anyway, we went and ahead and ordered (shortly afterwards!) and were advised that the burgers will mini - i.e. better to order two at a time, or else combine it with soup. Good advice: they are delicious but are not a meal in themselves, even for lunch. My favourite was the Mexican-themed burger (I forget the name). Soup was some obscure vegetable which I decided to risk, and it turned out to be excellent - big thumbs up. Would definitely go back to try again - staff were very pleasant, but would maybe try and beat the lunchtime rush during the week.

We took the metro and then a bus from Midi south station and reached here. It was Sunday and as per him, Brussels is closed on Sunday that's why you are not seeing any rush. Anyway, we entered the restaurant. It was neat & clean, good ambiance. The waiter greeted us and we got the table in a quick time. We ordered Mysore Masala Dosa, Masala Dosa, Mini Ghee Sambar Idli, Vegetable Spring Kati roll, Onion Rava Masala Dosa. No doubt, the taste was awesome. Ghee idli especially. I liked my Dosa & Sambhar too. Plenty of options on the menu. Service was bit on the slower side though it was not crowded. And yes, they don't serve tap water. We paid 5 euro for water too. I am not used to paying for water so it's strange for me. And then they claim every fountain water in Europe is safe to drink. #irony

Everything was very nicely done with well balanced spices. Service was very quick and courteous. Edit - I took off one star because I went in next day and asked for vegan combo and they served me dessert with diary (desi ghee) when I specifically asked for vegan option (VO) from their menu. When you claim to have VO, please serve that. Its same as you wont serve meat to a vegetarian. They said its a negligence on their part but I hope they will be careful next time around. Many people dont eat dairy for ethical or health reasons (lactose intolerance) and hence its not acceptable to be careless when customer asks for VO.
