I don't have access to a Mac. So took the phone along to the tech support desk at HN as an urgent job (for which I was to be charged an arm and a leg but hey you do what you do to get your phone working as quickly as possible). Booked in at 10am, they said they would get onto it straight away and to come back for it after 1pm. However upon returning at 2pm I was told "it isn't quite ready" which I then discovered meant it hadn't been started. Four hours just sitting on a desk - I could easily have driven the thing up to an Apple store in Sydney in that time. Never again Harvey Norman.

I had taken my last annual leave day off work to wait for this, and it was wasted due to their incompetent communications. Waited an additional 2 weeks past this date for the installer to come. On the day it finally arrived, a Harvey Norman rep told us it would arrive first thing in the morning as we were 'first on the list'. It arrived in the afternoon instead, and the 3rd party installer told us Harvey Norman tell every customer that they're 'first on the list', and that he had gone to two other customers prior, who were also 'first on the list'. Installation did not occur as this same Harvey Norman rep had not properly communicated to the installer what our plumbing specifications were and they didn't bring the correct pipe. Typical big corporation - I hope they choke on my hard-earned money.

When I chased up with the local store about replacement I was told that it was out of warrenty and must have been damaged from direct sunlight yet my brother who purchased the same lounged has had the exact same problem with the peeling and now reading online reviews alot of others had the same problem aswell, some actually got replacements or refunds but not me!! I'm annoyed that firstly a lounge would only last 4 years before being useless when I spent nearly $2000 on them both, but also that Fantastic must have known this was a problem and didn't even bother to pursue it for me. I have threw both of the lounges away (at my expense ofcourse) as my infant son was picking up the black pieces of leather that were shedding off and putting them in his mouth, and spend money on another lounge suite. Im so peed off you have no idea. I would most definitely not recommend fantastic furniture, particularly to anyone wanting to purchase a "leather" lounge.
