Honestly, one little thing ruined this 1 star review from being a 5 star review…read more I worked with Dave and my corporate office to have Orlando Recycles pick up a plethora of old IT equipment ranging from monitors, to an old TV, desktops, etc. My corporate office gave me specific requirements on what needed to be done for hard drives, including a certificate per drive showing they were destroyed. This is a common requirement in IT departments everywhere, as obviously we're responsible for that data and don't need it getting into the wrong hands. This is something I spoke with Dave about over the phone, and reiterated I needed. Dave came by with another gentleman and took out all the equipment as requested no problem. Sometime later, I received a receipt that showed what was taken. The only thing that was numerically listed was the hard drives that were removed. However, I received no certificates. I emailed Dave. He said he had no notes of that request. Of course not, it was a phone conversation. Nor did he ask me on the day of if that was as service I needed or wanted. So while he apologized, that really doesn't help my case at all. Because of that slight oversight (which is actually a massive issue), I can't recommend nor use this company again in the future.

I am actually the homeowner that came with one of the guys to buy the product I would rather buy and spend money at somewhere else than this place so if you wanna come here and get treated and disrespected, this is the place for you. No customer service rude and it's not worth it. I will make sure I tell everybody to avoid this place. It's not worth saving a little bit more to get treated this way.

Due to a time crunch we needed the house emptied quickly. Ron and another worker came this morning and after speaking with their manager, Alondra, said we had them all day and quoted us a price. They showed up 30 minutes late which I didn't complain about. They had a rented UHaul truck b/c theirs has been in the shop for over a week, which was strange. After they filled the truck which took 1 1/2 hours they said they would be back within an hour and a half. 2 1/2 hours later Ron called to say management said they were being assigned 2 other jobs instead and wouldn't be back until maybe late tonite. I told them that not only was that unacceptable but they wouldn't be getting paid. Alondra the manager called me and said it was a misunderstanding and they have other smaller jobs they needed to do but ours was a very big job and she thought we weren't in a rush. I explained we heard her workers on the phone getting the ok to spend the day here. She kept saying it was a misunderstanding but the only confusion was on her part. The very sad part was that we wasted a whole day away from our ill 98 year old father. Don't be fooled by the fact they are a large chain. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
