We ordered the combo so we could try a small sandwich and a small salad. The only issue is, there is nothing small about them! Both were delicious, but a meal within itself. I couldn't finish mine and ended up bringing half of each home! We tried the Triple Berry Salad, Greek salad, and the Chicken Bacon Ranch on ciabatta bread sandwiches. If you like fresh ingredients and healthier options, this is the place for you! We will definitely be back...

They used to have high back wooden booths along the south wall and east windows, with some additional small tables in the middle. The wooden booths are now gone and there's more of an open air setting with tables along the south wall with wooden bench style seats and high top tables in the center. They're still some pinball machines at the back that bring back fun memories. I found an old favorite on the menu, and ordered it - The Mcbide Special! It's a turkey, ham, and Swiss sandwich and comes with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, oregano, vinaigrette, a pickle, and chips ($11.95). It was just as good as I remembered it!. I sat at the bar where I was waited on by a friendly and polite employee. I enjoyed my visit, and reminded myself I shouldn't take so long to return. 5 stars for great service, sandwiches, and some fond nostalgia! Check them out!

The board lists the flavor and usually the type of beer. It does not list the manufacturer or really any other details. At this point I ordered a beer and the chicken nachos. I received the beer promptly. I finished that one, then another. Still no nachos. After an hour+ and 3 beers, I cashed out and left. At least they never tried to charge me for the nachos. I witnessed numerous dishes returned to the kitchen. There were 2, sometimes 3 staff members for the entire bar and dining room. All were friendly but seemed inexperienced. I witnessed at least 2 on their phones at some point. Last but not least, the atmosphere. The place could be really amazing. When I was there, the bar was sticky. 3 of the lights above the bar were burned out and the fixtures, obviously intended for old looking filament bulbs had bright LEDs installed giving the ambiance of a hospital waiting room. We have been constant customers of McAllister's for years. More so under GrubHub these days…read more We have found that when placing our orders, they never seem to be correct. Of course, when the GH person picks it up, it is not their job to confirm the order is correct - just to pick it up & deliver it. I submit the orders myself on GH app so I know what I order. Pretty simple. Pickle. No Pickle. Cookie. 2 Cookies. Basic requests. If it is incorrect, I cant call GH for help or McAlister's as being elderly, all they want to do is give me a coupon I have to come in to pick up. If it was that easy to come in, I wouldve done so rather than order thru GH. What I end up doing is contacting GH & letting them know my order was not in full or missing something. They then give me a partial refund & the delivery person still has their tip. Reality says it's not GH's error to fix & pay for. Any thoughts on this as Im positive Im not the only customer this happens to.
