Service was initially slow, our server was gabbing with another table for a while. But once she realized we were her table, things picked up. Ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It's that industrial chicken salad with only celery and the meat is pulverized into a paste. Very bland. The potato salad is reportedly homemade, but also very smooth and strong mustard flavor. Not great. The turkey bacon melt was a bit better. The grilled sourdough bread on both sandwiches was really good. And the pasta salad had a nice vinegar tang. It was actually really good. We found free parking about a block off the circle. Fairly quick in and out as we were driving through, so that was a plus.

Of course, when the GH person picks it up, it is not their job to confirm the order is correct - just to pick it up & deliver it. I submit the orders myself on GH app so I know what I order. Pretty simple. Pickle. No Pickle. Cookie. 2 Cookies. Basic requests. If it is incorrect, I cant call GH for help or McAlister's as being elderly, all they want to do is give me a coupon I have to come in to pick up. If it was that easy to come in, I wouldve done so rather than order thru GH. What I end up doing is contacting GH & letting them know my order was not in full or missing something. They then give me a partial refund & the delivery person still has their tip. Reality says it's not GH's error to fix & pay for. Any thoughts on this as Im positive Im not the only customer this happens to.

The board lists the flavor and usually the type of beer. It does not list the manufacturer or really any other details. At this point I ordered a beer and the chicken nachos. I received the beer promptly. I finished that one, then another. Still no nachos. After an hour+ and 3 beers, I cashed out and left. At least they never tried to charge me for the nachos. I witnessed numerous dishes returned to the kitchen. There were 2, sometimes 3 staff members for the entire bar and dining room. All were friendly but seemed inexperienced. I witnessed at least 2 on their phones at some point. Last but not least, the atmosphere. The place could be really amazing. When I was there, the bar was sticky. 3 of the lights above the bar were burned out and the fixtures, obviously intended for old looking filament bulbs had bright LEDs installed giving the ambiance of a hospital waiting room.
