And who thought it was acceptable to put a used sauce bag into a food container and send it out to a paying customer? This shows a complete lack of quality control, sanitation, and basic respect for customers. If this is how orders are handled, it seriously makes you question what's going on behind the counter. The gumbo was good, if a little dark for my taste, but good. The crab cake was very good, I personally loved the bit of dill and bay leaves I tasted in it and the horseradish sauce made it even better. Bottom line, this is really the only game in town so they can charge what they want and will stay busy. Would have been awesome to have a lunch menu available. Our waitress was capable but really not much of a ray of sunshine on our travels through Franklin. We would go back in the future.

I also have to mention that the place could use a little tune-up--even with all the dim lighting, it's easy to see that there was not much cleaning or renovations done to make this establishment look presentable. It's clear that KOK's building used to be a German beer hall and not much restoration has been done to gut out the place and make it more appealing to diners. I also think that the wing sauces should feature a description of all the unique flavor variations so that customers understand what they are ordering.
