Owner Aaron exhibits old-school integrity and is wicked smart with respect to trees, grass, flowers, etc. Pretty certain he knows the Latin names for all the plants too. His services are priced affordably (lower than the big national companies) and the results are noteworthy. We've had him install French drains, sump pumps, remove bushes, grate & level our yard after a giant tree removal, install a 16 x 70 paver patio and a separate patio off our master, and of course maintain our grass. At first, everything was great, but recently there have been a lot of problems and it mostly boils down to the people who come to mow the yard and not the people in the office who are great (Mel, Cindy, Aaron). I have to be totally honest, it's not all bad, they are responsive to concerns and they always call you back. Aaron and his dad, Mel, will personally call you and/or come over whenever there is an issue and Cindy is very helpful and runs a tight ship on the phone from their office. In addition to weekly mowing services, they do landscaping and have mulched for me and installed metal edging and did a good job. They also have seeded my yard for me at the end of season and that turned out pretty well. I had a few issues with some landscaping and they were quick to come over and make it right. I also had an issue where they kept hitting my porch step repeatedly and it ate it away the wood but they did pay to repair it when I had it fixed. I basically live in Back Bay and my yard retains a lot of water so I've had a bunch of issues with ruts in the yard and them driving through the mulch beds instead of weed eating or taking a little extra time not to tear up my yard when there is bad weather. No, you can't control the weather, but you can do some stuff to not be so hard on someone's yard (like weed eat instead of drive the zero turn over problem areas, etc.) and I haven't seen any of that recently. It's constant pain and irritation on my end and I'm sure they're tired of me calling to complain as much as I'm tired of being irritated by the crappy care taken in my yard. I'm pretty unhappy with the quality lately of the weekly service I'm paying for and the guys who come cutting corners with the weekly maintenance. I've included photos. The guys who come sometimes drive the entire wheel through the length of my mulch bed, over the sprinkler heads, and undoing the mulching and edging I pay for annually. They also repeatedly turn the zero turn in the exact same spot and drive ruts in mud through the yard every week and kill the grass I pay $300-400 to have seeded and $500-700 to have treated. It's a lot of money to have careless services, so I've decided to go with someone else who perhaps has less yards to mow, but won't cut corners to be quick. I'm tired of worrying about it. It's clearly just not a good fit with my yard.

When a large branch came down during a storm and impaled itself about six inches from our shed we knew we had to do something before the tree came down on our house or garage. Due to its proximity to our garage, shed, privacy fence and house it was obvious it was going to be a difficult job. I had estimates from a few tree companies but once Brandon came out and accessed the situation I immediately knew my search was over. His estimate was very fair but more than that I was impressed with his confidence, knowledge and professionalism. He assured my wife and I that he had all the skills and necessary equipment needed to complete the job. He addressed all our concerns so we decided to move ahead with the project. We also decided to have a tree in the front yard trimmed a bit. Brandon's Tree Service arrived at hour house on schedule with lots of equipment and a crew of five. They worked together very well as a team and kept in constant communication with each other via headsets as the work was being performed. They did an amazing job, it really couldn't have gone any better. My wife and I were impressed at the skill, attention to detail and teamwork displayed throughout the day. Brandons removed 2 of my neighbors trees. They removed all the debris from what they did take out…read more Problem is, they left the 2 stumps. One was about 1 1/2 ft. tall and the other was about 2 1/2 ft. tall. They left the stumps because the trees were in a rock bed and the tall stump supposedly had a wire fence grown into it. My neighbor asked me if I could take the stumps down to ground level. I moved the rock (which wasn't much) from around the base of the stumps and pulled the fence away from the other stump. The taller stump did not have any fence growing into it like they said. I removed both stumps with my 16"Stihl chainsaw. The picture file was too large to upload.. Also, they parked their crane on her driveway and broke her new concrete. The only thing they offered her for the broken concrete was to remove the broken pieces for her.

I was very concerned about a tree service being able to get the limbs trimmed back without damaging our home. Michael was prompt with coming out and giving me a very fair estimate. He's very respectful and prompt with communications. Once I agreed to the estimate he was able to work me into his schedule in just a few days. I wasn't able to be home when he did the work, but I was not disappointed. He climbed teh tree and roped down the limbs. The pruning was done very well and was careful to not damage the oak when climbing - he doesn't use spikes. The cleanup was excellent. Zero damage to our house.
