That was going to be $2000 - "but I might as well replace the whole unit" - which would be $5000-$6000. Okay, fine - but I need to get a few competing bits (and have someone else give me a second opinion). So I came here - Yelp - to look for a couple companies to call. I looked for 5 star reviews and John's was one of them. He had great reviews and just from talking to him on the phone I could tell he knew what he was doing and he could drop by later the same day. He looked it over and said the only problem was the drain pan was filled with sludge blocking the drain - $350 to clean the pan and the coils. WHAT?!! Sure - let's do that! We made an appointment for the next day. He came by on time, cleaned the unit with minimal fuss or mess and that was that - $350 the unit is no longer leaking. It is no exaggeration to say John saved me between $1600 for unnecessary parts or $4600 for a new AC unit. On top of that, he also noticed my water heater under the A/C handler had been wired wrong and fixed that too. I highly recommend John Pro Services - he's knowledgable, professional, honest, cleaned up after the job and didn't try to upsell me on something I didn't need.
