Not sure where the bad reviews came from. I'm staying in the area for a few weeks for business and this is one of the best places I have ever eaten. They are known for their fresh fish and that is what we went with. The quality of the food was impeccable. Service may have been a tad slow, but we were in no hurry and given the quality of the food it was obvious that they were cooking it all fresh. The owner came out and spent some time at our table with us. Lots of great Portuguese wine made it a perfect meal. read more

The service could be more attentive and a bit more friendly. Both times I visited this place it was far from packed with people and both times I had to wait noticable amount of time to make the order. All-in-all, a very enjoyable place with lower than average service which does not really correspond to the overall picture.

Hallo zusammen, beim Don Camillo handelt es sich um eines der besseren Restaurants in Paderborn. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, die Kellner und Kellnerinnen sind sehr freundlich. Die Essensqualität ist ebenfalls sehr gut und das Preisleistungsverhältnis bisher ungeschlagen in Paderborn. Allein bis zum eintreffen des Hauptgangs wurden insgesamt DREI Vorspeisen serviert. Der Hauptgang selbst entspricht eher einem 2-3 Familienteller also sollte entsprechender Hunger mitgebracht werden. Ich kann nur sagen: Unbedingt einmal zum essen hinfahren. PS: TISCHRESERVIERUNG auch für kleinere Gruppen empfehlenswert da das Restaurant in der Regel gut besucht ist. read more
