We started with jumbo margaritas, for a very reasonable price. Along with a full bar, they offered about 25 flavors of margarita, including a "skinny girl" so I was able to skip all the sugar calories I didn't want. I made up for it with a large order of fresh, homemade guacamole. Delicious. The menu is huge--several pages. We decided it was unlikely they could deliver such an extensive menu and still make everything fresh and tasty. Nope! Both our meals were truly outstanding. No one could have crammed another shrimp into the shrimp quesadilla--it was cheesy and absolutely stuffed with shrimp. She could only eat half of it. (She's a lightweight!) I had fajitas and chose pork, shrimp and bacon. I could have also added steak, chicken, sausage (and pineapple.) The pork was caramelized and crispy on one side, soft and tender on the other side. Next time I'll order a pork dish. My dish had lots of shrimp and bacon--why don't more Mexican restaurants offer bacon? Everything's better with bacon, right? The service was excellent. The server stopped by and checked on us twice, but didn't hover over us, which was refreshing. After we sat there for hours--drinking, talking, eating, laughing--the bill was very, very reasonable. In St. Louis, the bill would easily have been triple the amount, or more. We both a wonderful time; we're already planning our next visit. P.S.
