As such, don't be surprised if they take a dislike to your old carpet , or YOU, and just decide to walk off. If that happens. You are _screwed_. They insist on 100% paid up front and wont think of offering a refund, even if they have delivered ZERO. In fact they may opt to extort even more money from you, relying on the "sunk cost" motivation. Based on my experience, Carpet Call are the "My Moovers" of the carpet industry. Do your research, people. Going with any company that is a "market leader" due to a big advertising spend is always, always a bad idea and this sorry outfit bears this out in spades.

Really poor customer service and poor quality control on products…read more They gave me a sample of engineered timber and said the veneer was 3mm. So I measured it and it came to 2.5mm. I called the manager and he flatly denied it was 2.5mm and said I was the problem. Appalling response. He then claimed there was a tolerance of 2.75mm to 3.25mm, which means their engineered floors - which are supposed to be 'finished' and don't require sanding or oil - can have up to 0.5mm difference from one plank to the next. Imagine walking on that floor ... He then changed direction and claimed if there were any issues when laying the floor it was because the client doesn't know what they are doing. Nice. That's the kind of support I want when I hand over $5,000 - $10,000 to a business ... Clearly, they're not up to listening or working through problems with clients, and instead attack or challenge their clients when they draw attention to defects in their product line. I suggest you avoid them and take your business elsewhere - I know I will.

We had looked at a few other places and their prices are about the same per metre however it was most important thing for C and I that we find the right style for our kitchen. Carpet Court organized the tradesman to come around to measure and quote. And after we bought it, then to fit it. Buying it was a bit complicated because they wanted a cash deposit, no cheques or credit cards, so that meant a trip to the bank and back to Carpet Court.
