But his company was certified by Yelp and De'Ondre replied to my request quickly, was polite, sounded knowledgeable and his estimate was very reasonable. De'Ondre arrived at my house at the scheduled time to review everything in person so he could be sure what parts he needed to get. He went out to get them and returned quickly to complete the entire job. He kept in contact to let me know he was on his way. My plumbing issues were resolved quickly and easily. I could tell De'Ondre has a lot of experience. He told me about how he grew up around plumbers and started learning how to do this work while he was very young. He also has his plumbing license, and just started his own full-service plumbing business. I happened to mention a few other things I needed to have fixed in my house, and he said he does handyman work too. He replaced a broken door handle and fixed a few minor things that were driving me crazy. I am proud to be Haigler Plumbing's first review on Yelp. De'Ondre is kind, communicative and personable, and quite talented. I highly recommend him. During that time he or an employee have been to the house three times. Each time, between the time I called and when they showed up, things would start working properly again. So they would try to diagnose the issue based on my description and do what seemed to be appropriate, and things would be fine for a while but eventually the problem would recur. So yesterday he showed up with an expensive piece of equipment to properly diagnose the issue, and having done so, brought in another expensive piece of equipment to fix the problem. He was there for over two hours, and along the way, he mentioned what he normally charges for use of that equipment because of what it cost him. I was OK with it; I was just happy to have the problem finally fixed. But when he was done, he said that he wasn't happy about the past "misdiagnoses" and I shouldn't have to pay for them, and he ended up charging me about a third of what I was expecting. When I offered to meet him halfway, he said, "Sorry, I've already entered it into the system, nothing I can do." I can't promise that you'll get price breaks like I got on this occasion, but I can promise that you won't get ripped off, and that you'll get excellent service.
