Pro Service: the people here are so kind! Whether it be…read moreshopping or striking up an interesting conversation, go in to shop, window shop, or to chat! Atmosphere: the building inside is a little lack luster but it still holds its own charm. Very industrial looking, there are little stands throughout the place, each vendor selling their own products! Taste: although this is more of a shopping place, there is a coffee stand inside and it has by far the best coffee! They roast their own beans and the baristas are so welcoming!! Uniqueness: very unique! Handmade items always amaze me and this place surely holds that standard! Con Price: unfortunately because everything this hand made for the most part, products will be expensive.

Note that the 53 C. Luisa address is production facility rather than a typical storefront. Their…read moremain storefront is in the mall of San Juan, but I wasn't able to get there during my trip. I called ahead to the production facility, and they were happy to accommodate my order there. They also sometimes accept orders via Ubereats. The production facility building on Calle Luisa is unassuming and you will need to call to be let in. Once inside, they explained their available flavors to me, allowed me to sample some chocolates (which were fantastic) and let me choose the flavors in my order. A 16-pc box and a 9-pc box were about $119, which is on-par with the cost of other high-end chocolates. I highly recommend the arroz con dulce flavor. It's unique and flavorful without being too sweet.

Went by on a weekday for a tour of the coffee plantation. This was worth every moment!! We were…read moredriving from Rincon to San Juan and decided to take this detour to explore another facet of Puerto Rico. We arrived just in time for their 10am tour (call ahead and check availability, it's $20 per person). Our tour guide was fantastic! The coffee estate, the buildings, the little canal, and the stream with the waterfall they take you to are breathtaking. I would definitely come back and spend the night here. The place also works as a wedding venue (there's a chapel on site). At the end of the tour you can buy some coffee (probably some of the best cappuccino I've had on the island thus far). The tour took about 1-1.5 hours. Worth every dollar. It's so serene. Everything is constructed from natural materials. There are peacocks roaming around. The air is fresh. The water pristine. I loved it. Although the drive up the mountain is a little tricky (drivers are also a little crazy) and we did get a bit lost (GPS for some reason can't find the place), we called the hacienda and asked for directions which worked well. There are also signs along the road. Don't let this out you off though - it's all part of the adventure!
