The drills were there to not deter or frustrate you, but to get comfortable doing them and what you need to work on. Just going to the range is not enough, professional training is a must. It was a one day course, but you will learn a lot and leave the course a better shooter and definitely things to work on; practice, practice, practice! He utilized a variety of teaching methods including lecture, video, demonstration, hands on application, clinical scenarios with application of problem solving techniques. Not your average PALS class. As you can see he teaches many other classes and can offer a variety of certifications. I would definitely recommend certification or recertification with Pernice's Rescue Training and hope to return in the future.

I really didn't leave this course feeling any more confident than when I went in, which was a major bummer. I would say I don't know where all these awesome reviews are coming from however I do- they second you walk in they make you subscribe to their youtube and when you leave make you fill out a survey and really push leaving a google review. If your looking to take a rushed course in a closet where someone just tells you what to do, this is the course for you.
