Last night, the glass on my iPhone5 shattered. As though I was singing soprano. We're talking glass blown out everywhere. One corner, the glass was missing entirely. After a night of drinking brought to you by Ballast Point's "Victory at Sea" (AKA best beer ever), I was calling up a Lyft to get home and overshot my pocket when I went to put my phone back, causing it to ricochet off of the curb, bounce out of its case, and skid across the concrete, shattering the front screen into a splintery mosaic and rendering it all but unusable. I bought the service plan from AT&T with my phone, but they still wanted a deductible of $150 to fix it, and I'd be without a phone for at least a day. I could go to the Apple Store, but it would be $110 to repair, and I couldn't get on the 163 to go to Fashion Valley Mall because of the Rock and Roll Marathon. I called Done (Raphael) because the power button on my IPhone 5 was incredibly hard to turn off and on. Turns out it is a cable that is a common problem, but not easy to repair.
