I requested a Yelp estimate and received varies of responses. I decided to go with 954 Screen Repair because he quoted me the best price. I was able to go get my screen replaced the next day. He is located in the Time Square plaza on Oakland Park and US1 across the street from Coral Ridge Mall. The location is very tricky to find as the other reviewers stated. You have to look for the building number and the building is on the side facing East Oakland Park Blvd. Once you find the door you will go inside and see a elevator and a large mirror reflection. You will go up to the third level and is office is the second door next to the tax office. You will just knock and will let you in. It took his less than 10mins to repair my screen. I waited in his office and sat down a black sofa he had. Around his office is collections of broken screen..many other businesses cards stored on his wall and collection of previous iPhone boxes of all the iPhone generations. read more

I saw good reviews so I tried this place out. It was fast service so I was impressed that I was in and out, but from the second I walked out, I've had nothing but issues with my screen. I've gone to U Break, I Fix type places and never had these issues before. First, the screen display is a noticeably different color. Not a big problem, but noticeable. Second, and by far most annoying, the keyboard presses its own buttons so it enters spaces and letters as you're in the middle of typing. Third, the phone screen also randomly turns on with no notifications which kills my phones battery faster. And lastly, as you can see in this video, my phone screen now has completely decided to not work at all. I got this phone fixed 10/26/22, noticed keyboard issues ten minutes after I left. Went to Mexico for a wedding 10/27/22 until 10/30/22. Went back to the store today, 10/31/22, had my phone "fixed again", twice within a week, and today, keyboard issues resume and tonight, the complete lockout issue begins. I came here to save money and now I have to pay double to ACTUALLY go get my phone fixed from Apple. Edit: can't upload the video. Not sure if that's a Yelp issue or screen issue. read more

While being in town I decided to get my battery replaced. A month after replacement, the battery starts to expand & started to pop my screen out of my phone. After sharing these concerns with the owner, he decided to ignore my comments and hang up on me during our conversation. He rejected to give me a refund. He stated he would replace my battery, but this is not a practical solution as I live two hours away. I would recommend to go to a more commercialize company that provides better warranty & post service solutions. In my opinio, the owner should've issued a refund for the defected battery. instead he insisted I drive two hours for him to replace my batter for free this solution is not practical. I'm disappointed with the way the owner handled this situation. I encourage everyone to pay with a credit card and not cash or Zelle. Since I did not pay via credit card I cannot dispute this transaction & the owner es got one over me since he refuses to provide me with a refund of $70. Look elsewhere people ! read more

Looking for a place to fix a super cracked iPhone screen so that I could return it to AT&T for a credit after I'd purchased a new phone. They answered the phone immediately and discussed my needs. It's a bit hard to find, but it's in the white multi-story building across from Penny Lane Emporium. Enter and take the elevator to the third floor. Once I finally found it, the owner was friendly and immediately took care of my repair. They have a couch for waiting and it took about 15 minutes. Looked incredible when completed. read more

The place is slightly hard find if it's your first time .. it is inside of a building upstairs on the third floor So I called guy to get instructions and then it was super easy to find. ( door to get upstairs is next to the plastic surgery place ) Comfortable seating area with cool light fixtures made of broken phone screens ! The price was definitely fair / cheaper compared to other places in all of Wilton Manor and Fort Lauderdale which are charging 140 for phone screens. The owner is very responsive and gets back to you quickly but the quality of work isn't there. I took my iPhone X in to replace my screen with an ifixit oled screen that I could have changed myself but I also needed the back glass replaced so I decided to take the whole job to someone. I've never done the back glass and didn't have the part. Let me preface this by saying that the phone was still fully functional at the time of drop off and this was expressed in my messages with the owner. He did not ask to very so I forgot to show him. I dropped off my phone to be repaired and in the back of my mind I wondered to myself if I should ignore the red flag that I can hear a YouTube video in the background playing on how to fix something while he's working on someone's iPad. Huge red flag. Got my phone back and immediately found that my face id function no longer works. These sensors need to be transferred over from screen to screen. So he somehow managed to mess up a simple screen repair. (I've done this repair before several times. I have plenty of replacement screens cause I don't use a case) Note: owner initially says maybe it was broken since it fell and cracked the screen and after I give him the "come on, man. You're full of it. " face he offers to take a look. I agree because at this point he has my money and I have nothing to lose. He proceeds to dismantle and inspect the phone visually and tells me he doesn't see anything wrong. Going to pull it apart myself when I feel like it because I have to. He also didn't change the silicone seal on the front the second time he opened it. leaving it damaged from the second removal the phone is no longer water proof. I don't know if the back takes a seal but I doubt he changed that too. Top front right of the screen wobbles so something isn't sitting right. The owner offered to have someone he knows fix the issue but failed to mention if it would be at my cost or his. I didn't care. At this point I was done with the place. He said I would have to leave my phone for two or three days and I thought to myself "who can afford to do that? I can schedule an appointment at Apple too. The Face ID sensors need to be programmed to the phone so unless his friend has the capability it's going to Apple." He did the job. He didn't do it well. so I don't think he deserves 1 star but now I don't have Face ID. Apple Pay/ wallet functionality. Thank goodness I'm single right now because I tend to cheat. I can't lock my phone anymore. It's just wasted time typing in a code. As a former business owner I know the tricks of the trade and have a feeling this comment will be removed. I hope not. It's an honest review. He was responsive and fast. He just broke my phone in the process. This review is also on google. Wrote it a day after so I'd calm down. If I could leave a lower review, I would. The plane is extremely difficult to find even when you are in the right Plaza as many of the other vendors don't even know where it is. Then, when I got there, the door is locked and I had to call the number on the sign only to get no response but instead a call back. The guy then proceeds to tell me he's not on the shop even though his business hours on Google state he is open. To make matters worse, he doesn't have the glass to do the repair on a fairly new and popular phone. I drove all the way from North Mami Beach on a wild house chase. So after a few months, the screen started to separate from the phone. My screen actually cracked again. Which is my fault, however, the glass was not as secure as it should be. So now that the screen has separated from the phone, it makes the creepy entrance and the actual "store" not worth it.
