Love this place! It is a small space so definitely make a reservation if you are going in groups!…read moreParking lot is also small so be prepared for that. Neither of those things are drawbacks, just things that would be helpful to know ahead of time if you've never been before! Inside is a very cozy atmosphere and welcoming environment! There's always a variety of blank pieces to select from; I do not often see repeat items. There is a table at the front which includes various items: stamps, lace, paper cut-outs, paint tape, letter stamps, just lots of things to help you make the piece you want! They do discounts for students and children. I cannot recall the exact amount for each, but they do have them!

A wide assortment of paints and accessories to make your own creation special. My my family decided to decorate coffee cups. It was really fun and the baby even got in on action. My daughter is son in law were very creative.Me not so much, but it was fun anyway. The space is kind of small. We went on a weekend and they had a big group in there. So I would say during the week is probably a better time. The staff was a really nice and helpful. I cannot wait to go back and create something different. Also, it takes about a week to get your finished project back. Because it has to be put in the oven to finish it.

And this was her first birthday party. After I stated my concerns, I was told that "things happen and I have to understand that" Then thenowner Mishalle accused me of "violating the terms of contract" by SMOKING in the facility. A bogus lie. Her staff was onnsite the entire time. They have portable ac units which did not keep a comfortable temperature. My cake was melting. My guests were sweating uncontrollably as well as had their hair ruined. I had expressed to Mishalle that I experienced a central air outage at my baby shower and truly did not want to experience that again. Mishalle was very unaccomodating and I paid $3050. I never woul ld have paid that amount had I known this was going to be my experience. For my 1100th review, I am going to write about my amazing experience at Level One Bar+ Arcade!…read more I promised my brother a surprise during our trip to Columbus, OH if he passed his insurance agents license. He passed, so I took him to Level One Bar+ Arcade. I did it to have some brother bonding time. Its been years since either one of us had stepped into an arcade and really spent hours playing in one. Some of our fondest memories together occurred while playing video games and in video arcades. Thus, it was wonderful to relive those moments together and create new memories at another video arcade. Really cool place, ambience definitely is a cool classical arcade that just happens to have a bar inside. Tons of games here! You can find all the classics, Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, etc. Talk about memories... i remember playing Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat at arcades when I was in grade school. I got go relive memories when I played X-Men the Arcade Game, a game I beat at an arcade when I was in middle school. The only disappointment was with Rampage. I jumped for joy when I saw it! I loved playing as either George, Ralph, or Lizzie as gigantic monsters devouring the worlds population and destroying cities when i was younger! Alas! It was not operable! My years away from playing video games showed my rusty skills. I used to be a beast in games, i did alright but man have my skills deteriorated since college. Again, we played for hours, and had a great time together. We did not spend a lot of money, all non-pinball games are free. We also did play some pinball games like The Walking Dead, and You Only Live Twice. Level One Bar+ Arcade made our last night in Columbus, a wonderful night. I definitely recommend coming here!

So maybe drop some breadcrumbs because it is worth revisiting. I took my boyfriend here for a surprise date & it really delivered. We learned so much about the stars, planets, constellations & the solar system while attending the "Voyage Through the Solar System" which is a live show presented by OSU astronomers. The presentation lasts approximately 40 minutes and leaves the remainder of the hour for some Q & A with the audience. The show takes place in a 63-seat 30-foot dome theater with a state-of-the-art XD digital projection system giving exquisite views of the night sky and takes you on digital journeys to the planets, stars, and distant galaxies. Our astronomer gave us really interesting information in a fun & engaging way that held the attention of all. Tickets are free, but go fast!

I sincerely went with low expectations. I was completely wrong! What a wonderful nostalgic, visit to my childhood! I'd completely forgotten the amazement planetariums create. Although the location was difficult to find in the dark, with the help of some OSU students, we finally made it. There is no visible sign or address on the building from the street view. There is also no off street parking. Luckily the OSU parking garage is within a short two block walk. I'm also not sure if the building is handicap accessible. I'm thinking that it has to be? Due to our search for the location and street parking, we were a few minutes late. The room was packed and we had to sit in the front row. I recommend you don't do this. Although the chairs are comfortable and recline, you'll have a better experience and view if you're seated towards the middle. Our guide was exceptional! He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and passionate about his field. It made it a great experience! The clarity and details in the presentation were great. The audience ranged from young to senior citizens and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves. There were a multitude of questions and all of them were eagerly answered. You were made to feel comfortable with the attitude of "there are no stupid questions". It was truly a learning experience with the incorporation of very recent discoveries in space. I'll definitely be back and strongly recommend this as an outing for any age. There are a few different presentations, they're usually about an hour long, along with the question and answer session. I discovered this on Eventbrite, I'm not sure if the planetarium has a website with a calendar. It's definitely worth checking out!

Unfortunately, we spent more time troubleshooting and trying to get the games to work than actually playing. Half of our group eventually just gave up and sat around chatting. That said, the food and drinks were absolutely the star of the show -- everything we ordered was fantastic and honestly the saving grace of the visit. Game Arena has a lot of potential and could be an incredible spot if the tech side was more reliable and smooth. Until then, it's more of a cool place to grab a bite and hang out than a true gaming destination.

Walking in, there were a number of people playing on PCs and on the consoles. Not overly busy for a Sunday night. But Seems the wait to use a console could be long as there aren't as many of those to use. They do have USB plugs if you want to bring your own controllers for the PCs. Had no idea about this as Im not the best on mouse and keyboard. PCs do seem to run super well for fast paced battle royale. Only issue is that the PCs don't have that many games. It's mostly popular ones but they don't all work for some reason. You can use the steam accounts on their system but logging into our own gave us trouble. Also, my friend had issues with his mouse and headphones. He had to keep flagging down staff to help him out. They are very accessible but this was kind of inconvenient. It's a cool space to hang though! They have a bar area and an upstairs area. You could honestly just come in to eat and get drinks without actually gaming. Food was good! My friends and I all got boneless wings. They are huge! It's a lot for the price. Korean fried chicken flavor wasn't at all Korean to me. But it tasted good. I added some fries and it came in a huge basket. Great prices in general! Even got a couple beers under $7 each. You order the food at the bar then they deliver it to you at your computer. They've got takeout containers if you need 'em too. Prices weren't bad. It was $15 for 3 hours and there's a time clock on the PC. They have monthly memberships if you come here a lot. This place wasn't here while I was at OSU. I'm glad they added it to the campus activities!
