The TV programming offers a lot of fantastic educational options for kids, in addition to news, local programming, and more. My latest issue with WSYX/Sinclair is THEIR censoring the Jimmy Kimmel show. If I want to censor a show, I simply use the off button. If enough of us do that, then the show gets canceled. I miss the days when our local channels were truly local channels. Now they are big conglomerates trying to become bigger. One Sinclair station is like every other. We don't have reporters anymore. I really like the CW though. They are committed to the green movement, which is a great example since they're driving the media in Columbus. They give young talent an opportunity to gain experience by offering one position as the CW star each year. They're at almost every good-cause event in the city. They offer perks to viewers through a slurry of contests. And their brand is recognizable - how can you think of anything other than the CW when you see chartreuse? The guy emailed me and I said we could do a phone, email or skype interview, but he kept insisting he come to my house. I said no, it's phone,skype,or email or NONE at all. This guy kept coming to my home of residence and camping outside, taking pictures, etc looking to interview me. I have an unlisted home, I don't know how he found it but it is disturbing. Pohleman kept tapping on my window, yelling, moaning, making obnoxious sounds. It was really disturbing. He left when I called the cops. I confronted him on twitter and called him out about this and now he denies the whole thing, claims he doesn't even know who I am. I have the emails from him. I understand he has a history of harassive reporting for WCMH and trying to cover his tracks, so it wouldn't surprise me if he deletes his tweets.

The only time we heard from Jeffrey was when we needed to send him the second half of the deposit. The Big Day comes on Sept. 25th -- and oh by the way, did I mention that we had our wedding at the Columbus Zoo!? It was an incredible experience that we definitely wanted to have recorded so we could enjoy it for the rest of our lives. The day comes, the day goes, the ceremony ends. We realize that Jeff isn't there. We get an email at 6:30pm (our wedding started at 5:30pm) saying that he was unable to come and he told us we will get a full refund. I email him a few days later and ask when we will get our refund. No answer. Email him a week later. No answer. Called and emailed a few more times in the following months... Nothing. We will never be able to get that day back. And for that, I absolutely can NOT recommend this vendor. Do not book Jeffrey Mark Barr through Santa Monica Pictures or Buckeye Wedding Vendor. I HIGHLY suggest looking at the negative reviews of Jeffrey on WeddingWire and Yelp -- that will give the actual picture of what can go wrong if you book with him. We have taken him to Small Claims court (to which he did not show), and we won. We are still waiting on our refund, but money or no money, you can't make up for our lost memories. Your special day is too precious to gamble on what you may / may not get if you hire Jeffrey.
