A 4 star for good tasting ice cream and candy, but rudeness from the staff (1 star), like you are a burden asking questions. Shouldn't you be excited to get customers? Are you overworked with the two customers that were in there? I may not be seeing the whole picture, so for that you get 3 stars. read more

Great fruit stand or fruit store on the side of the road off Highway 49. I parked in a pretty good size parking lot. I wanted a cantaloupe which I did find here. Also, found an big assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables here. I couldn't help but get about 5 other fruits and vegetables besides a cantaloupe. I also bought some okra, squash, and some tomatoes here too. Well, about 2 days later and I eaten just all of this. It was all delicious. I loved the squash as I cut it up into round flat slices and cooked them with some sliced onions and two bacons. The bacon was used to flavor the squash and onions. It was fantastic. Oh yes, I will definitely be coming back here if I am in the area. I just wish it wasn't so far from where I live. They also have lots of other stuff. I saw ; peppers, bell pepper, egg plant, lots of different kinds of nuts and jams and syrup. They have a store to the right of the fruit stand that has lots of other things and stuff. Was driving to the coast all the way from West Texas & turned around to stop here it looked so cute as we passed. Beautiful plants. Outdoor furniture. Fresh produce. Artisan items like honey & goat-milk soap. Wind chimes! It was awesome. Then, there is a really nice boutique as well with giftable items, jewelry, Swig tumblers & homemade Fudge. I loved stopping in here & had to be pulled away to finish our road trip. read more

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with this place. I specifically turned around to stop by here and buy souvenirs! But they showed me the way out, as I had 2 chihuahuas with Emotional Support Animal documents in my arms !!! Even after I submitted the documents and said that they violated the Federal Law, I was rudely pointed out to the exit!!! I don't recommend coming here!!! read more

I drive between Florida and Oklahoma several times a year. If timing works out I always stop here. They have a large selection of fresh produce, beautiful plants and the gift shop is wonderful. Lots of unique items. My friends and family always ask for the habernero stuffed olives. Definitely recommend you stop if you are every in the area. read more

This was a neat find. I was in search of ice cream and noticed the huge billboard that said homemade ice cream. It was right by the highway so it wasn't hard to find. At first, I thought it would almost be like a fruit stand but nope. This place has a huge open area with a lot of produce and then a gift shop that sells jellies, preserves, sauces, and weird stuff. The ice cream bar is inside with several flavors. I don't know about homemade but it sure was good! I had a chocolate milkshake made with chocolate ice cream and it tasted just like one I would make at home. Only downside...a 12oz shake was $4.25. It should have been a little bit bigger but it was worth the $4.25. They also have all kind of fudge at the ice cream bar. Great place for ice cream or to find unique things. read more

This is one of our main stays for where to bring visitors. If you want a southern experience make sure to stop by Donna's #6 and get you a bag of hot boiled peanuts. While you are there, make sure to pick up some fresh produce, jars of pepper jelly, and some whimsical yard are or select a beautiful plant. About the only place to stop for all kinds of goodies for miles. Careful about entering and exiting 49 though. Sorty kindy real real dangerous. Everything else though is top notch I recommend peanuts when it's cool or ice cream when it's hot. read more

We just came upon this place on the way to Orange Beach....turned around and came back to it because it was decorated so cute, all Fall and Festive with pumpkins and lots of fresh produce...the gift shop was great, we purchased some of the homemade apple nut bread and some of the fresh made cookies, but the greatest purchase was the muscadines........they were soooo good that we stopped on the way back and bought more.......great little escape in the middle of no where... read more
