I laughed because I was a broke 19-year-old college student living not far from here in a one-bedroom apartment on the reservoir. Would I say it was fancy back then? Yes, in a good kind of way. Back then, just like now, no one made you feel unwelcome. But what I love about this place is the selection of stores. The stores back then and some now were uniquely owned. Therefore, you bought items that you didn't see a zillion people wearing. My favorite store has always been Maison Weiss; it's still here. I remember wanting a 200 dollar belt. I saved my little coins and got it, and added a bracelet. But I also loved and still love the restaurants and the open courtyards. I see they have added Whole Foods, LuluLemon, Free People, a Wine Bar, and some more stores, like Kendra Scott. I can say this place still holds its charm, and probably will forever. I know for me it will always have a place in my heart.

This place is great. You walk in and are immediately hit with fragrant smells and a warm greeting. It's really one stop shopping, there is a LOT in this one place. Initially, I was just looking for something yellow. I don't know flowers and couldn't verbalize exactly WHAT I wanted so this super helpful lady (I missed everyone's name) took me all in the back, to the refrigerated area and then some. I mean, the customer service is top notch! She was so patient and just when we were finally getting somewhere I looked up and saw a duck container. These have significant meaning for my mom and the game plan completely changed. She then had the idea of just buying a small plant and putting it in the duck. The others in the store were so nice and giving my tips and tidbits. The man who rung me up also happened to have lived in Arizona so we chit chatted about AZ things. Just a really chill vibe but that's what you get at local spots vs big chains. The service alone is the reason I will be a repeat customer!

Based on my personal experience with Mostly Martha's and the excellent reviews on other sites, the reviews here are eyebrow raisingly low.
