It is a mix of "touristy" stuff like paper cocktail napkins with joke sayings on them and nicer things. The outdoor area is particularly nice with interesting glass garden art that I think would work best if you lived somewhere without too much wildlife...or storms...but it is fun to look at! The layout is a little maze-like, but that's sort of part of the fun in my opinion...the store just keeps going and going and going... Definitely worth going here rather than one of the purely "touristy items" places if you're looking for something to do on a day when the weather isn't fabulous!

This is a very nice store, and not like the other crowded t-shirt shops in downtown Fish Creek. This place has its own style and custom products, and fees like a lifestyle store you'd find in Chicago or one of the coasts. Everything they have is very high quality and fits a custom Summer House Wisconsin Style. We picked up a shirt, custom card set, a purse and gifts. They have a really nice baby clothes and children's section (not the cheap cartoonish stuff we found everywhere else). The Adirondack chairs were really well made and so comfortable but we have no room left in the car! Highly Recommend!

You can look at everything, but none of it is for sale. If you want to see something in a locked case, you have to get the older woman there to open it up for you. I bought something from a case and I kind of felt like I was bothering the woman in the shop. Not the most friendly antique shop out of the options in Door County.

The museum section is pretty tightly packed: so focusing on individual items, takes a bit of effort. We're glad that we finally visited Door County, late enough in Spring, to find this facility open for exploration.

I have never been in a store that sells almost exclusively stamps. That alone gives this store 5…read morestars. I was on my way to Egg Harbor, when this store caught my eye on the main road in sturgeon bay. Apparently this store used to be in Egg Harbor, but moved to Sturgeon Bay this year. You can't miss it, its a great big purple house! Inside, there are seven "rooms" filled with stamps. I probably could have spent all day, and a ton of money looking at the entire inventory. What I loved about this store is it has displays above the stamps, giving you an idea of what they would look like colored in. The stamps aren't cheap, but the selection is more unique than you would find in any big box craft store. I shop online a lot (ebay, amazon, joanns, stamp retailer websites) and I found some stamps that I felt were "hard to find." Scrapbookers will love that they sell Door County stamps here. They also sell scrapbook paper, inks, glitters, glues, and a few stickers. I was looking for embossing folders and die cuts too, but ultimately didn't find any I HAD to have. If you like to craft, you need to put this store on your itinerary!
