I have had two jobs done there, both relatively minor. He and his receptionist have been…read moreexceptionally polite and respectful. The other shop in town does really good work, and has worked with me before and gave great service and good prices, but is a bit hesitant to take smaller jobs, particularly if they think insurance might pay out more. (I wasn't all that persistent, so I'm not saying the other shop won't.) Tanner's had no problem taking them, doing the amount of work I asked for without argument, and seemed very reasonably priced. For one job, an elderly lady obviously care-taking her passenger-husband(?) backed into my vehicle (rear cams don't always see white cars on sunny days!), cracking some of the plastic tabs on the rear bumper making it likely to rattle and fall off eventually. Tanner knew that I didn't want to go full-on "have your insurance call my insurance" mode with the lady, which could have cost her her license (or just money she couldn't afford), so he agreed to fix it so it wouldn't fall off (rather than trying to get insurance to pay for a new piece on a 9-year-old vehicle that was already beaten up), and charged about $80. (Something called "plastic welding" was apparently involved. You can't see anything, unless perhaps you get underneath.) More recently, one of the drivers in my household (ehem) was backing the car out of the garage and failed to close the driver's door, and the corner of the door and hinges got bent on the garage wall. The door would grudgingly close, and the window worked fine, but over time it would have been a real problem. For $425 (he gave me a bit of a discount for not using the credit card but gave me a legit receipt), his crew bent it all back, scraped and painted what needed painting, and adhered a replacement OEM-style vinyl stripe on there, and you cannot tell the door isn't brand-new. That wasn't reported to insurance (because you'll more than pay for it...plus the car already has a rebuilt title). So I don't know how he does with major repairs, though I've certainly seen some in there. But I very much appreciate he can work within a tighter budget to do what needs doing and no more unless you ask, and he and his receptionist were very friendly and easy to deal with.

Very slow turn around time. Tons of excuses of why things have not been done by the due dates that…read morethey had set. Told us that our truck would be ready every single day for the last week, just to turn around and put the wrong bumper on it. Don't even waste your time.
