Doors Galore did a wonderful job of installing my screen door and garage door opene. Last night my power was out and a friend came over to manually open my garage door so I could get my car out. Today, I could get the garage door opener to reset. I called & Cody do patiently walked me through how to reset it. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. did a horrible job on our door there is a crack on the side and it does seal all the way, and after 2 years it has gotten worse as the door knob is starting to jam up and we can no longer set our alarm due to how messed up it is and it was almost double the price of our previous one. read more

Do not use this company! I had a screen door installed this morning on my back patio. The installer was very pleasant, but proceeded to tell me, after he had begun installation, that he had mud on his shoes and there was mud on my carpet now. After leaving, I inspected further and it wasn't just a couple spots. It was throughout the walk-path to the back door. I called the office to speak with someone to let them know and there was no solution or attempt to rectify the situation. If it was one spot, I could easily spot-clean it and be done, but there's no way I'd be able to remove all of them without a carpet cleaner. All in all a very nice door, but an extremely unprofessional installation and customer service process. read more

I just experienced something I still can't believe just happened. I also take responsibility and should have refused the service. It is 12/23 and the "feels like" temperature is 33 degrees below zero. This company actually sent a technician to do the work. I allowed it. Never again. I have a 26-year background in the Human Resources department. I have not witnessed such inhumane treatment of an employee ever. I called to speak with the manager/owner and believe it or not they were both off today due to the weather. I hope they both feel warm and cozy. The technician left in a state of shock and probably a case of hypothermia. read more

A few years back I got several quotes for two garage doors and Doors Galore ended up having the best price. Ordering the doors and getting them seemed to take a while... between 6 and 8 weeks. The installer arrived, removed my old doors, and did a very professional job installing my new doors; the installation exhibited excellent craftsmanship and pride in his work. My only gripe was that while doing the installation he was smoking in my garage. As someone who can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke, it greatly irritated me because the smell of smoke lingered around long after the installation. Now a few years later, if I needed doors again in the future, I'd gladly use Doors Galore again, but tell them upfront to keep their smokes in their truck. read more

We had our 2 car garage door replaced. They had the best price, offered a very high quality. Work was very efficient and high quality. The guys were very nice and helpful with any questions I had. We had them out for maintenance on our old door and to replace our opener. They are a great company and offered a lot of choices. I highly recommend Doors Galore. read more

Last year in about Aug 2018 we called Doors Galore to do a huge job for us. A man came out and we told him what we wanted and emailed to confirm it. I called them when they didn't come and the girl said she didn't see anything for us than before we got off the phone said they were waiting for materials. I called again and still, nothing didn't seem to know what was going on. So now it is March 2019 and I get an email asking if I would like to use them as they had a record of us using them for a garage door. I was not happy. Seems no one did anything for the order to replace the front door and side light. I would not recommend them as there seems to be some problems with the staff and getting things done when you order something. I never got an apology nothing. After the email, I never got a reply nothing. Seems they are not very responsible. They used to be good don't know what happened. read more

A spring on our garage door recently broke. We called them on a Monday and they had someone out the next morning to fix it. The guy they sent was very nice and professional. Doors Galore came out to replace our weather strip on our garage door. It took them several days (after our scheduled appt.) to make it out. We had to call again after the initial install because the stripping wasn't flush to the ground. The worker came out and suggested that we "kick" the stripping until it began to "form" properly. This summer I noticed that the other end of the garage door stripping was curling up as the garage door was closing, so we called for someone to come out. This worker suggested that we buy a cheap garden hose and run it through the stripping so it would straighten out as it closed. So, we tried that to no avail. I feel that people in the service industry should go the extra mile if a product they install isn't working properly. If I was a "do-it-yourselfer", I wouldn't have needed them in the first place. The workers are very nice and the initial cost was very reasonable, so, if you don't mind being instructed how to fix your door problems once they've been out, this is the company for you. I personally will never use them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

On 6/4/19 I had a scheduled appointment at 4:30pm to have my garage door looked at we previous had a tornado and I didn't know what was going on with my garage door we barley use it mainly for storage. Well I rushed home thinking this tech should be arriving around 4: 15- 4:30 ish, well after getting home and waiting for an hour I decided to call doors galore back I spoke with Katie she said he's running behind and he should be there soon I thought ok almost another hour later I had called back thinking they forgot about me it's getting late my children and I are getting hungry. luckily when I called I got a man in service who answered he said let me get you to Katie she again replied he will be there I asked can you give me an estimate time maybe we can grab something to eat make a run etc. she said she couldn't but he is just finishing up he is a few streets over from me on Weddington, give or take that's 5min away. At about 7:05pm I get a call from the tech (Brandon) saying he will be arriving in 10min, he arrived at 7:21pm. As he gets out his truck and he begins to explain what had happened at the previous place when he walked into my garage he immediately noticed that one of my springs was broken he recommended that I replace both which I insisted on replacing one but he made it seem that this was so necessary that when one goes bad so do the other (the door was installed 2014) so I thought ok, what he said would take 20min turned out to be a whole hour+ he was moving so quickly/rushing I kind've figure he was just tired and he had been working all day. Every time I would ask was things going ok he wouldn't answer but again moving very quickly I wanted to make sure he was doing a proper repair most tech will coach a little on what they are doing if you ask or just cause. Once he installed the springs he began to move my photo eyes that sensors the door I'm thinking why, but maybe that's what he is supposed to do he actually lowered them from where they was before and did not ask me which they was fine where they was at before. He then did some resetting on my overhead and began to argue with me in my home that someone had been messing with the dials I said to him no they have not as he kept arguing with me I stopped him and said don't you argue with me he then said well I can charge you for extra labor and I said I will not pay it so then he apologized funniest thing ever to me. I told him I would be calling the company because I disagree with this whole ordeal now the tech threw it all he did do a great job but there was a lot of things that could have been done better and also respectfully. The next day 06/05/19 I called the office spoke with Katie again I explained to her this situation and her response was we can't guarantee when a tech will arrive which was bizarre to me. She had all types of excuses on how they had other people in much need I said well I had to contact you 2x after the second time you then sent the tech a text message to contact me what would've been more appreciated is she could have informed me that he may be extremely late which could've given me an option to reschedule. But no, she went on and no very unprofessional. She asked me what would I like to see happen I told her I would like for my service fee refunded not the 199.00 I paid but the 59.00 service fee ,she hesitated like she wanted to refund it then said she would email me shortly. 06/06/19 she emailed me about 8am stating that there will be no refunds and that she was sorry that the tech was there and I was unable to feed my kids dinner. I need higher up management to review this and we are taking this further the staff are really failures in communication, service, and how they treat their customers and I'm sure their employees too. I hope this does not happen to anyone else. I read the reviews and I agree with all the bad ones they are telling the truth! The good ones was just lucky. I will not recommend them nor should you!!! This company installed our new garage doors about 3 years ago; did a great job and we love the product. Lately we have had an issue with the door stopping before it was all the way up, so called to have them take a look. The same tech who helped install the door came out and checked it out. A couple of the rollers were in rough shape, so he changed those out and lubed the tracks. He left the can and some other goop for the screw on the opener. I needed a set of double doors in a breezeway for an apartment building that I own. My initial call resulted in their sales person arriving the next day to look at the scope of the job and explain my options and different types of door materials. After I made my selections, I received a quote that same afternoon. It took about three weeks to get the doors from the mfg. Actual installation went well and the breezeway looks 100% better. Will I use this company again in the future? You bet I will. BTW, the installation people were neatly dressed in company uniforms and they cleaned up the job site when the work was completed. read more

We LOVED our experience with Doors Galore. We had used them for years for maintenance and installation of our garage door and opener. Then we bought french doors for our patio and our master bedroom....fantastic! The crew was polite and professional. Excellent craftsmanship and installation. After installation, we noticed a small cut in one of the screens. No problem! They came out right away and replaced the screen with no issue. I wouldn't use anyone else. They are fantastic! read more
