This is my second time working with Dora. My 5 star review is reflective of my overall experience in both instances. Her work ethic and the level of integrity she operates at is the gold standard. The first time was in 2010, what would have been a short sale for my parent's home turned into dealing with my mom passing away, thus resulting in an immediate foreclosure of the home. Long story short, Ador and Dora didn't leave my sister and I to dealing with it on our own, but helped us navigate the process and referred us to the right people to deal with probate. I've known Ador and Dora for some time now and I had always trusted their expertise and best of all, their way of looking out for you. Ador was there for me when I bought my first property, a studio in Shelter Creek, after my divorce back in 1998. Again I used Ador and Dora to sell it for top dollar when I moved up to a 3BR Townhouse in SSF and they helped me get that even in a frenzied market at that time (2005). Unfortunately, I didn't use them when I decided to sell and it cost me.. A LOT!!! But that's for a different review.. This time, when it was time to buy again, I came back to them and it was all ACES!! I had to wait some time to be able to buy another home but it came at a time when the market got hot again (5/2013-10/2013). I told them that I had a budget to work with, a schedule to follow, and a lot of conditions to be met. We started looking for my home in 5/2013 and finally landed one in 10/22/2013. As you can see, it came in the period when it was a seller's market. During that time, I saw, I bid, and I lost many times on homes that I thought were the perfect ones for me. Frustration set in quickly and often as I lost on these homes because of my conditions. Ador and Dora never faltered. Ador was the rudder that held steady in that stormy moment... always calming me down and always, ever always, reminding me to keep trying because the right one is just around the corner. And sure enough, we found it in the town of San Lorenzo. During the purchase of my home, Dora was with me from the get go. She combed through all the paperwork for anything amiss and made sure that I was comfortable with everything happening. Even though this was not my first home purchase, she treated me as if it was.. making sure I understood the mountain of paperwork being sent to me. During the inspections, she meticulously checked off what needed to be noted.. even through her bout with her allergy (cats.. darn cats were in the house).. she was a trooper. And when it was time to sign the closing papers, again she was there to watch over me to make sure I did not feel like I'm going through it by myself. Father and Daughter really is a perfect team. When I bought my home, I had what they commonly called as "Buyer's Remorse". Because of all the rejections I had from past offers, I likened it to having to dance with the only girl in the room. I thought that I rushed it, maybe another may be out there. But Ador and Dora reassured me that it was a good, sound purchase. Now, after having been there a month, I love it. I realized all the little things things that I wanted but didn't initially notice were there all along. The freeway is only 5 mins away, so is Walmart (yes, that's arguable), a local fresh market is only 2 miles away... When things came crashing down around me Ador and Dora knocked on my door and "nudged" me to the right solution. I had lost my job and did not qualify for a loan modification. A 'short sale' was the best way I could protect my credit. On top of all this stress I ended up in the hospital with a heart condition for over a month. One of the few visitors I recieved during that time in the hospital was (suprise) Ador, to inform me in person a full status of what was going on with my attempts to resolve this crisis. Without me prompting, without communication, he had been hard at work and never gave up seeing me through the best possible outcome. This continued for *months*.
