Everyone he interacted with while doing strolling magic was impressed with his skills. We also asked him to do a 20-30 minute set while the band we hired went on break. The venue was not set up very well for him to do that, there were issues with the sound and lighting, and the room was full of 100 not very sober people who were not all that interested in watching a magic show. Nevertheless, Jack did a wonderful job of staying in character and positive. He got the birthday girl up there which brought the attention back to her and was a consummate professional. He also made jokes about 'holding his balls' and 'being the stripper' which were not appropriate given the audience. The final straw was when he 'accidentally' took the microphone that belonged to the children's hospital and refused to bring it back unless we paid him an additional $45??
