Staff is not honest. I ordered a bounce house 2 months before my son's party and was reassured it would be delivered. I even checked on it the week of the party. 2 hours before the party I am told they cannot bring it because I am having the party at the lake. I rented a gazebo and informed the county there would be a bounce house. Owner was rude over the phone when this was brought to his attention. He said they needed to file paperwork on their end also... months later, I would find out this is false and he just lied to me. I would not rent from this company because they don't fix any problems, they try to brush everything under the rug. Staff delivers items late. So many more places to rent from. Update. Owner told me he couldn't deliver to the lake because I didn't have the right paperwork... after talking to the county, I did have the right paperwork and he just lied so he didn't have to deal with my order. read more

Have rented twice from here since last post. (And rented on several other occasions previously) They are continuing to provide great service. Owners are improving in the customer service which is important to me. I have dealt with other rental places who lost my business due to lack of customer service. They make it easy to reserve. I just called them and they sent me a text to my phone. I put in what I needed and replied back. Super easy. I need easy in my busy life. Lol. Still free delivery in the area if you spend the minimum amount. We rented tables and chairs. The delivery guy Grady is super nice and very professional. He delivered on a Friday and accommodated us by picking up on Sunday afternoon. These guys will continue to get my business. Highly recommend Dora's. They have a warehouse of stuff too for bounce houses, and lots of other stuff I've seen. read more

Atmosphere: Weird warehouse in Merced on 15th & O st, but once you get inside, they have examples set up to show you. If you plan on coming in to see their products, call first or else you'll be stranded outside waiting for no one. Customer service: The family as a whole is very kind. The mom is very laid back. The dad is the opposite. He is his best when you meet him in person, kind and talkative. Through text or phone though, he is strictly business with what seems to me as no emotions. It can feel intimidating/quite scary. I suggest going in person. Products: They have a variety of products, but not enough variety within the products. Their fabrics are not the best texture and quality isn't grand and amazing (like in expensive weddings). However, if you're on a BUDGET, I'd say that this is the cheapest you can get in the CValley. Overall: They never give discounts, so don't ask for one. Again, if you're on a budget, come here. If you want better quality, more variety, and a friendship to come out of your business, it's not the place for you. read more

Great service ! Would definitely recommend . Hired them for my graduation party and again for my wedding . Had over 300 people and rented everything from tables , chairs , linens , charger plates , water goblets , decorations . Everything was from this place and all of it was super clean and organized , they arrived on time and helped us set up everything and were very fast on clean up made our night so much easier . Zero stars actually!! This place was awful! Hard to believe all the other reviews. My bf and I have been calling/text the numbers listed for the last week and a half and we haven't received any help. Finally spoke to someone on the phone, was instructed to text the husband of the business, we did and never heard back. Even drove down to Doras and was asked to leave all info so they could contact us. Assuring we'd hear back from someone and nothing. Today, finally after calling multiple times and being hung up on, told they'd call back...with no call back, calling YET again, they finally, as rude as possible said ALL the slides were rented for the weekend. Um...what!?!? Any time we've been able to get someone on the phone, availability has been our first question and now nothing?! So very unprofessional! I will never recommend this place to anyone AND if ever brought up in conversation, I will stir them away to save them the time that we've wasted! read more

This company does not arrive in a timely manner. I confirmed the day before that the bounce house would be set up before noon, which was time of my son's birthday party. They said yes, it would be set before noon. 11:45 the day of the party, we still had no bounce house. We called the company and they had to call the driver, as they seemed confused on where it was. The driver called us and said it would be set up before noon. That was at 11:51. We simply asked him "so you'll be here and set up in 9 minutes" he said "before noon" at which we said "that's in 9 minutes." He then rudely said " do you want it or not". Not exactly the proper way to talk to a customer. Needless to say the step was late. The driver gave us a discount, which should have been a given. This company then tried to refute my review on Facebook saying they weren't confused or rude and they can refuse service, which wasn't the point. They were indeed rude and late. read more
