I'm a fan of small businesses, and this is definitely the sort of store I'd bring business to. They only offer specific items depending on the season, but the staff was still kind enough to look in their backroom to see if they had what I was looking for. (They didn't.) My recent experience with McNamara's was very disappointing. I brought a Christmas stocking in to be embroidered with a single name. It took two weeks & five trips to the store (they lost the original order) to get it done. When I finally picked the stocking up after two attempts to get the name on straight, the name is still off-center. You can see the stitching indentations from the previous failed attempts. The stocking is dirty and looks terrible. I am embarrassed to hang it up. Maybe they are good for sports embroidering but not for any specialty item. I was over-charged for a poor quality job and a lot of hassle. I will not be going back! read more

Horrible service from the boss/owner. I took my daughters letterman jacket in there to have her name and stuff put on it and they said it would be done in about a week. I called after 10 days and he said it wasn't done. It was a Friday. So I told him they said it would be about a week so I than asked if would be done by Tuesday cause it has already been over a week and he said probably they were a little behind but they would call me. So I went in on the the next Friday 17 days from the original date and he wasn't even there and my daughter and other jackets that I believe we're there when we first dropped off were waiting to be done had not even been started. I don't know if this guys thinks just because he's really the only place in town that he can just wait as long as he wants Or do whatever he wants but screw that I will find somewhere else to go. If there was some kind of issues with the machine or something than a call should have been made to customers. I don't think that was the case though the first time I went in to take jacket in he was not there because he was at a football game. So much for customer service. read more

They were the only store in 3 towns that were willing and able to do some embroidery at the last minute (when even embroidery specialized business couldn't) AND speed the process so I could have it in a day! They were extremely helpful and even assisted in the design process when I couldn't come up with an idea. read more
