There's no point in going in great detail about this section because this is what you would expect from a vintage shop. And down the stairs is where you'll find the art. This portion is very open, but I was told they have plans for it. V&X is such a cool space. Women's on the left, men's on the right and two black sleek chairs in the middle in front of the table with accessories. They have a great selection for women and it seems as though they only purchase one in each size (small, medium and large only) for each shirt, blouse and dress. There are a few other boutiques in town with the same buying tactics and even though it's totally depressing when you find something super cute, but not in your size...I'd rather know that I won't run into 20 other chicks at the Garden with the exact same dress and it's a plus that this allow stores to bring in more mech sooner. Pricing is totally affordable. I bought a color block dress for $38, an infinity ring for $5 and a double ring for $8. And those prices are full price, so when stuff goes on sale or they have discounts I already know where I'm spending my paycheck. Oh ya, and get the frequent shopper card, every other purchase is discounted.

Their policy should just be "no returns or exchanges, ever" and they should tell you that when you are checking out. Regurdless of their policies, if you are in retail and want to be successful, think about your customer service and make an effort for repeat business. Trend Society didn't seem to be too concerned that I will never shop there agin. oh...they also charged for gift wrapping when they "wrapped" the gift in their own "Trend Society" labelled white cheap looking bag and wadded up the ugly tissue paper.
