I have a beautiful cream cotton and silk top with black stripes that I bought here which I love. I also bought some great dark blue straight-leg trouser pants here which have served me really well. So yes, the prices are more on the expensive side but there's no need to empty out the store - a couple of pieces from here will benefit your wardrobe nicely. Also, if you think you've seen this store before take note that it's the more cool-casual twin of Max Mara which looks and feel more corporate.

Ok, Ok, my friends at least tell me I look chic, I guess it's the confidence that is inspired by "my stylist" and the suggestions of which classic pieces that I could add and also accessories that Max & Co may not sell. This limits my impulse buying of clothes that I regret and may not even wear. I should add that you may not initially appreciate that being told "that does not suit you" or "try this size" but at the end of the day you are not told that you look "great" in something that does not suit you or fit you properly. I just bought an awesome t-shirt from Insight's Garage Artist's range, designed by Japanese artist Yaki Allen a white shirt featuring a black hole design, very cool. They also have the coolest headphones and ear-plugs, I have seen on sale in Sydney, I particularly like a pair of 80's style smaller wire headphones but with a ultra-modern design and in blue, red and yellow colour (that's three colours in one pair, not three separate colours, bit out of my price range, but everyone needs a dream.

In my opinion you'd be hard pressed not to find something you like here. The designs are bold, the fabrics are lush and it's all fairly reasonably priced.

Whilst some of their stock can be a bit dull (it is office attire after all), the clothes appear to be made really well and every now and then a stunningly slick dress or beautifully tailored skirt suit will appear in the window and you'll find yourself wishing you had a corporate job just so you can justify purchasing it. The shop's manager Yvette is only too happy to help you out, finding styles that will suit you best and matching ties like she's been doing it forever. Plus, she folds a shirt like an intricate work of origami (minus the creases). The tricky thing with Zambellis is catching it when it's open, as either I have poor timing or the store seems to host a 'back in 15 minutes' sign for most 15 minutes of the day.

So I decided to go with a bespoke suit for my wedding day. Whilst making my first appointment over the phone, I described the fabric colour I was interested in and Matt knew exactly what I wanted. During my initial visits, Matt and his team advised me what would work best with the ideas I proposed. At the end of the day, I am not a fashion designer and benefited from their learned suggestions. Whilst my suit was being constructed, I decided to order a waist coat and shirt. The shirt was a no-brainer as the cost of a decent shirt off the rack is quite comparable to one custom made by Matt and his team. I required numerous fittings as I ordered a bespoke suit, shirt and waist coat. I initially thought the number of fittings was excessive but I am not a tailor or well versed in what is required to get a suit to be a perfect fit. As the time was getting close to my wedding, I reminded these guys of the urgency of the situation and they delivered what I required. They really don't mind being reminded of the urgency of a delivery date and will get things done. Matt and his team of tailors have produced a truly amazing outfit for me. They honestly exceeded my expectations. I look a gazzilion dollars in it and was amazed people were literally stopping in the street to comment on it as I posed for a photo outside. I would honestly recommend these guys. Matt and his team are competent, meticulous tailors, who are all very experienced in designing, and constructing an outfit that will be the best for your body shape and garment purpose. They are absolute perfectionists and will keep going with fittings and appointments until they are completely happy with the finished product. I can see how this can be frustrating to some, but if it's perfection you want then that's what you'll get. If you are considering getting anything from these guys, my advice is to be patient with the fittings and you will be rewarded with an impeccable finished product. Don't think for a second that you can get the same sort of quality that these guys produce off a rack or out of some sweatshop in Asia. Matt and his team are the real deal.
