Literally run and go find another bartending company! We booked them for our big day and had to change a month before the wedding! Our initial contact with Elaina was fine and all dandy and they kept say yes to all our requests so we put the initial deposit down and signed a contract to book them for our big day. As the big day got closer, and I would try to communicate with Elaina, it would take Elaina days to respond, if at all, I had to send multiple follow up emails to ask things and communicate with her. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking they were busy but it just got worse. About a month out to the wedding, Elaina started saying they could not accommodate the requests we had asked for, that were listed in our signed contract and that I have email proof of. She also randomly sends me a new contract with a price increase and when I asked what the increase is for, she said because the requests she agreed "would not be financially conducive for them anymore" This was a month before the wedding and i bet you can imagine the stress. Thankfully in their contract there is a full money back upon cancellation if within 30 days before the event. We decided to cancel as this is extremely unprofessional and I did not want someone like this the day of the wedding. Upon the cancellation request/refund request. Elaina ignored all my emails and when she did respond, she had the biggest attitude. I was told after multiple emails she would mail a check- which is now 3 months later- I still have not gotten. She never told me when she mailed the check, so I waited 2 weeks to see if we would get the check before calling Elaina. It does not take 2 weeks to get a check from California to Washington State. Upon calling Elaina, she called back and let me know she would just zelle me the money- because "she did not feel like dealing with this anymore" Well Elaina, the check you sent apparently - never came- even if you put a stop hold, the check would have been shredded. Her attitude and remarks are absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. This is a hack job of a bar out of someones garage. Do not let their packages fool you- she will flip the script on you last minute and then never send you your money. It was after a VM addressing her lack of refund that she finally refunded me my money and I could not be more thankful this unprofessional company was not a part of the big day. If you want to go with someone rude, condescending, who will ignore you, and raise the price on you- go with them. Otherwise- literally run away It is not the price increase, it is the way she handled it and agreed to everything to think we would be stuck a month before and pay. We actually went with someone who was more expensive than Doubleshot and would've happily paid if she would have been upfront and honest. If you are not able to accommodate requests, simply say no in advance and don't cause couple's extra stress on their big day read more
