He is a self-employed HVAC technician whose work involves responding to service calls at customers' homes and businesses. Because he does not report to a fixed job site each day, the location of his work changes depending on his customers. During the first surveillance attempt, investigators drove approximately 2.5 hours to conduct surveillance. Despite that significant travel time, the only evidence provided consisted of several low-quality photographs taken within an approximately eight-minute period. The photographs appeared to show him placing what may have been plastic bags into his truck. These images did not establish that he was working, performing HVAC services, meeting with customers, carrying tools or equipment, or lifting more than 20 pounds. The fact that the entire body of evidence consisted of a handful of photographs taken over an eight-minute span is particularly concerning given the purpose of the investigation. I did not hire the company to show that he was present somewhere; I hired them to document evidence relevant to the claims being made in court regarding his employment and physical capabilities. The photographs provided failed to accomplish that objective and offered no meaningful insight into whether he was actively working or capable of performing the physical duties of his profession. The next update I received indicated that a GPS tracker had been placed on his vehicle and that investigators were monitoring his movements and personal activities. However, this was not the service I hired or needed. My objective was specifically to obtain evidence demonstrating that he was performing HVAC work and/or lifting objects in excess of the restrictions he is claiming in court. A GPS tracker can only show where a vehicle travels. His work location changes every day so there will not be any consistent movements. A tracker cannot determine whether someone is working, what activities they are performing, or whether they are lifting more than 20 pounds. As a result, the investigative methods used did not address the purpose for which I retained the company. I paid approximately $1,500 for these services and did not receive evidence that would support the issue being litigated. The surveillance conducted failed to establish whether he was working or physically capable of performing the job duties he claims he cannot perform. They also lacked communication. This was a waste of money.

Maybe this used to be a good family business, which is why I used them after reading the reviews , but after being spoken to like I was a criminal and spending money and wasting time on useless information, I wouldn't recommend this farce of a company to anyone.

Finding out that he was arrested in North Carolina would have been a relief if we weren't 650 miles away. We got precious little advice or assistance from the detention center, except to be wary of internet bondsmen. And only slightly more from the public defender, who didn't return promised phone calls...by pressing him. We chose US Bonding because of their longevity of operation, 25 years. Mr. Plummer listened patiently to our frustrations and offered assurance that he could help us secure my brother's release. And he did. But he did more than that. We were concerned about my brother's transportation. Mr. Plummer stated that he would secure lodging for my brother if his vehicle couldn't be located or was inoperable. That turned out to be unnecessary but Mr. Plummer went beyond, I think, what a bondsman would ordinarily do. He located the vehicle, with the tow company after business hours, and transported my brother to the vehicle. Mr. Plummer has been empathetic and informative for the duration of this ordeal.

I want to share my experience as selecting a P.I. firm is a big investment. With this investment I would have expected better customer service by the owner. I spent over $4,000 with this firm with little return for my dollar, which is sometimes the chance you take. The back office billing was the worst experience I've ever had with any company. It took the owner over 10 months to produce a proper invoice, which I asked to pay my final bill the date of service. The owners response was she didn't have the staff due to hard times. A firm should invoice their customers properly, on time and never threaten them. Again, choose wisely and do your homework before selecting a Private Investigation company.
