Initial contact proves them to be rude, uncaring, and very nonchalant. This is a family law office,…read morethey should be at least a little bit pleasant to speak with. They also misrepresent their prices and then take no accountability when called out. Stephanie was particularly unkind and confrontational. Avoid this place.

ZERO IS NOT AN OPTION or that would be my rating. So I know I wrote a review about this law firm…read moreand for some reason it is no longer on Google. I'd ask Google to reach out to consumers who are trying to warn other consumers about businesses that rip off the public. I am more than happy to share proof of being a client. ALSO TO THE PUBLIC - KNOW THAT THERE IS A FEE BOARD THAT DEALS WITH CROOKS LIKE THIS. I was assigned the attorney of Margaret Decker and I was billed $12,000+ for not even 2 months work. The game being played was stall and delay, ask repeatedly for information, have client call/text (each time billed), invoice for supposed client meetings (never advised to the clients until seen on the bill), coordinate to the benefit of the opposing side while never telling you their Sodoma client, secure credit card so they can bill and then post payments against your card and basically it's legal theft of people's hard earned money. In the end I represented myself pro se for a 3-day trial while these people got away with theft. Hidden marital assets were ignored, fraud against the court was ignored, failures on the opposing side for discovery compliance was ignored. It's all about empty promises to get you to sign retainer. get your money and then you are chasing them all day long. My now ex at the conclusion of the trail made it clear that all the attorneys I hired in Rock Hill were bought off so I would get nothing from the marital settlement. This attorney filed a notice of appearance and I met her at a hearing on her filed motion to withdraw. 3 law firms in total at a cost of more than $33,000 and they didn't know how to do the basics in family law. I guess the opposing side's attorney was so deficient that he needed the assistance of firms I retained to prevail in court. Know that there's all kinds of back room deal going on with the good ole boys club. Bottom line is that if you are a woman and black, you have no chance at representation even when you have the money to pay.... not surprised as it is the South. This is the game being played in Rock Hill, SC.

Please stay away... Unfortunately, I had an incredibly…read moreatrocious and vile encounter with Jennifer Creech as my mediator in a custody case. This is my 3rd mediation, and I have NEVER been treated the way she treated me. I have always been treated with respect and have felt a sense of non-bias. She did not even acknowledge my presence nor introduce herself. She berated me, told me I am disciplining my children ALL wrong and that she sided with how my ex disciplined them! She accused my current husband of "having money" and that if he has money he should pay for my children's Child Support!!!!! I was disgusted that she would even bring him into the case. This proved to me she was siding with my ex husband! He told her about trips I have recently gone on (that my husband has paid for 100%). She came into the room chomping at the bit and she was smirking. She could not wait to confront me! CONFRONT ME as a mediator???!!!!! How does an attorney not know that the father of the children is the one responsible for CS!!!! I found this disgusting and highly unethical. Even my attorney had to step in! "Under South Carolina's guidelines, a parent's income specifically does not include any income from other household members. (S.C. Code Regs. 114-4720(A)(3) (2025).) That would include a new spouse's income. This means you most likely could not get a child support modification based on the income that your ex's new spouse is contributing to the household"." My ex tried to sneakily switch up our custodial weeks to match that of his GF's and luckily I caught it. I told her he was being sneaky and she gave me an evil side eye look. Even when he confessed what he was doing, she never apologized. I only received looks and demeaning comments whenever I spoke! It did not matter what I said. There was so much more that, in hindsight, I wish I would have said. She had me upset and disrespected from the start. NOT OK! I have heard from dozens of other women/divorced and separated who have had similar experiences with Jennifer Creech. Please Stay Away!

I had a very similar experience as the other 1-star reviewer and definitely felt like her cash cow…read moreand that she was not there to truly work for me. I wasted tens of thousands of dollars of my hard-earned money and over a year of time that led to nothing but stress, frustration and no results. I too fired her and was able for a fraction of the cost, get excellent results through Haley Harden of Harden Law Firm. If you are no longer truly interested in helping good, hard-working people, and only care about who you can nickel and dime to death during some of the most difficult times in their lives, it's time to retire. And if you insist on continuing to practice perhaps you should look into EQ training. I don't know how you can be a family law attorney with negative EQ. Perhaps criminal defense would've been more her forte. Sadly, though, that's not where the money is at.

I had a somewhat simple divorce. Not much that needed splitting up. I knew I wanted shared custody…read moreof my son and I needed a good attorney for that. At our first court appearance we never got in front of the judge due to the court system not having a reporter that day. At the guidance of Connie the judge ruled based on what both attorneys submitted that day. Connie was socked in the mouth that day by what my ex's attorney (Cherie Barton) submitted to the judge as truth. She never recovered after that. Needless to say I continued to pay her because I was trusting her guidance. My tab finally reached $30,000 and I never got in front of a judge. I was so mad at myself by this point because I had trusted her to do what was right and fight for me. She did neither. I wanted my day in court to prove the allegations against me were false. Connie didn't want to fight for me at that point. Her idea was to throw my money at my ex and hope for the shared custody I was seeking. After I was asked for an additional $5000, which would have brought my total to $35000, I fired Connie at that point and sought the guidance of Tom Holland. Tom was willing to put up a fight for me at a fraction of the cost. After it was all said and done, I pay child support only, no attorney or PI fees. I kept all property. So don't go on the advice of your friends. Don't hire an expensive attorney because you think they're better. They're not. They suck. They know you have a little money and they guide you into throwing your money at something to get what you want. Divorce is hard enough but when you have attorneys like Connie taking people's money it makes much harder. Wish I could give NO stars.
