He fell behind, lied, and tried to cover up seriously defects in his work. He stopped responding and left the work not just unfinished but in HORRIBLE condition. We were forced to hire a new team to complete the project. Upon inspection, they found live electrical wires left in the walls, multiple safety issues, and work so poorly executed that much of it had to be completely redone. The list of errors is ridiculous - cabinets were installed overlapping the stove, lower cabinets were installed so they could not be opened in corners ( the cabinets were ruined and had to be removed and replaced at our expense) We were told paint was "complete" but at best it was 15% done and the new team had to redo everything he did -- so sloppy. In addition, Tim abandoned a trailer full of debris in our condo's HOA parking lot and has ignored repeated requests to retrieve it, creating compliance issues with our association. This situation resulted in significant additional cost, delays, and stress. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution others against hiring him.

Paul really can do everything we can think of to throw at him. We called Paul when we had lights go out in our 30' ceiling. In his first call, he replaced all our ceiling lights and straightened out a ceiling light fixture that no one could get to stay in place despite multiple attempts over the last 5 years. Then he serviced our plumbed in humidifiers, straightened our kitchen cabinet doors, rebuilding one that was coming apart, fixed a subwoofer in our Sprinter RV, replaced broken and missing window valences and helped us remove and dispose of a couch. He is now servicing our boat outboard and hydraulic steering and has consulted with our next door neighbor on a Nest thermostat system installation I think that's it at the moment. Reached out to Boren to Paint again in October as I had not received an estimate. Supposedly Coleman is moving out of Steamboat and now has a manager running the Steamboat operation. I asked for the quote via text by November 1st for budgeting purposes. Never received the quote so I reached out again on December 3rd. Manager returned my call and he was to get with Coleman as he thought it had already been sent to me. To this date I have not received the estimate. My perception is they have their hands in more than just painting. Maybe my job wasn't large enough for them. Would not recommend; communication is non-existent unless you reach out to them. I spent too much of my time tracking down the estimate and showing them the job I wanted done.
