Not bad, comparable to Adamz Woodfire on Stimson and Haliburton in Hacienda Heights. Was trying to order the Hawaiian Pizza but they don't have it on the kiosk. Good amount of char on the underside. Cheese doesn't fall off completely like the margherita with Adamz. But flavor wise, I felt Adamz pizza was a bit better less saltier more of that organic tomato sauce. Dough dude's was on the saltier side. In terms of speed, pizza came out way under my expected time frame. Almost like a 5 minute wait. Not bad. However price wise. Adamz on Haliburton wins. $20.00 a pop per pie, vs here probably due to store rent and more overhead, a pie comes out to 34.00 after taxes. We come to Haven City market to have small family gatherings for various occasions. It's a great place to meet up with friends or family and since there are so many food establishments to choose from, you base it on what you are in the mood for. The last time we came to HCM, I said I would try Dough Dudes pizza, so this visit the choice was already made at our prior visit. We ordered the build your own which is a great option if none of the favorite selection pizzas fit to your liking. So the BYO you choose a sauce, and two toppings included for a minimum price of $24.00. After that you can add more toppings for the additional price based on what the add on is. My only issue here is that you order from the self serve kiosk, even though there was a guy sitting behind the kiosk and I'm sure could have taken my order, but they want you to take your own order. The good thing is, if I'm doing all the work of placing my own order, then I'm tipping myself since all they are doing is preparing the food item we ordered. That is what we are paying for. I did however had some questions which the guy helped me with, so I gave him a small cash tip for the little bit of help. The pizza came out after about 5-7 minutes since they have a super nice brick oven that cooks really fast. The pizza came out perfectly crispy, a little bit of a flop but not enough to give a lower rating. The pizza was well worth the wait until today's order became a reality. A future pizza order is looking very promising here on a future visit. Like I said though, there so many options to choose from that it might be a while before I try Dough Dudes again. Besides what is available inside the food court, there are also walkable eateries just outside located in the same parking lot of the plaza, that you can order from and bring it to the food court area. Really good vibes here. Service by the two guys when I went was knowledgable and friendly. All the pizzas are 14", so it's about the size for two people to each eat half and be full. It starts at $24 but you get two toppings included, which is cool. We got black olives and sausage with red pizza sauce. The sausage is the sliced round pieces, like old school New York, and I super dig that. Love the sausage. The pizza was delicious and really satisfying. So much so that I ordered a margherita pizza and another black olive and sausage to go, this time with calabrian chili oil added. The pizzas are fantastic. For the SGV and woodfired pizzas, this is the best I've found so far. Wish they made larger sizes, but all woodfired pizzas I've ever found seem to be one size, so whatever. Go check it out. Their pizzas are scrumptious. There's something special about the dough. My hubby and I do the janitor fish's job of eating it because our kid isn't a fan of crusts in general. Theirs is a strange but delightful mix of crunchy and chewy. My son was so tempted by the aromas wafting from the box that he had to eat a slice while in traffic on our way home. This is the only food our son will have in Haven City. He's too attached to their pepperoni and cheese. Dough Dudes Pizza (West Covina) is a food stand in the popular Haven City Market. Customers order at a self-service kiosk. Staff is also surprisingly charming, professional, and hardworking. Staff made quick pleasant small talk, and Staff worked nonstop. My order took 13 minutes and 23 seconds. Great time! The Meats Specialty Pizza ($27 - 8 Slices) and the Hawaiian Classic Pizza ($24 - 8 Slices) were a huge hit with the family! We wanted something delicious for Sunday Football, and we weren't disappointed. The pizzas are not too saucy nor too cheesy. Rather, these pizzas leaned heavily on the freshness & flavor of its ingredients. Still, the pizza had a welcomed charred undercarriage while also bringing a little flop. However, if I had to nitpick, the pizza has a good amount of bread chewing despite its thin crust. The pizza would definitely benefit with some extra sauce to dip into. Still, these gorgeous pizzas created a delightful, tasty experience. Regarding ambiance, Dough Dudes Pizza (West Covina) has an amazing location within the Haven City Market. Its counter is near flatscreen televisions that play the football game. They're also near the restrooms and a bar. The location is very clean, and there's plenty of outside and inside seating. Pretty darn good pizza but was it worth the price... I got The Dude and figs in blanket. I did enjoy both of them but if I had to say the winner is Figs in blanket. I think the sweetness from the fig spread and saltiness from various cheese and prosciutto were well balanced. Someone here added arugula on their fig in blanket and I think that's genius. The pepperoni were crispy and slightly charred and I love the sprinkle of fresh basil on top. I unfortunately couldn't chew the crust because I left it for last and it was a bit hard, it probably would've been better fresh. I went straight for the veggie pizza (bc that's the only pizza that truly has my heart), and it delivered!! I was at an event this weekend at Haven City and many of my associates highly recommended this establishment. I decided to try it out and at first $20 + for a medium size pizza is insane. I placed my order on their self order screen and was informed it would be about 15-20min. I received a text informing me the pizza was ready and when opening the box, I was extremely disappointed. The pizza was ultra thin and taste was no different than other pizza places Ive been to. Im very disappointed on what I received and will find it very hard to order here again. Separately, as many of you may or may not know, Haven City ambiance is food court style with many other food options. It made me a little uneasy (but I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe the clientele here doesn't really eat pizza?). The guy who took my order was very friendly! I wish that during the interaction he could have talked about the business, like how they got started, where they get their ingredients, what their popular items are. This is a new experience for many people since Haven City is so new. It would be nice to know some information that makes them stand out or memorable. I got the margherita pizza $19. It was such a huge pizza. For being in a food hall, I imagine that people like to order things here and there from different vendors and come together to share and try. Thin and stretchy, it's tough enough to carry loads of cheese, yet pliable enough to fold (if you like that sort of thing). The Hawaiian's simple sweet & salty profile was equilibrium. I ate 4 slices before it got a chance to cool. The Dude, though, leaned salty. The flavor combo of garlic, parmesan, calabrian chili oil, and Roni cups was impactful, but the sodium needs to be scaled back somewhere. I took my time eating The Dude (sounds weird), but the upside is that the dough's elasticity becomes more apparent at room temp. That just means it'll taste even better at home. I love pizza so decided to give Dough Dudes a try on my visit to Haven City Market. Loved that they had a cute red pizza oven to cook their pizzas in. Pizzas only come in one size, so we got the Dude for $25 - I think it was equivalent to a medium size Domino's pizza. First impression: the pizza looks nice, with the cute little pepperoni, but didn't have that much basil on it. My family bit into the pizza and first reaction was "it's so salty". I didn't believe them so I tried it also, and yes, it's really salty. For me personally, the crust will make or break a pizza. The crust here lacked the chew I like, it was flat and like eating cardboard. For $25 I had higher expectations, and unfortunately wasn't that impressed with the pizza I bought. There are many other great pizza joints in the area like Rose City, Pie Trap, Baby Bros, or Curry Pizza Company. The consensus of the family was that it was a 3 star pizza. read more

First off, the pizza came out burnt in several spots, so that was disappointing since I wasn't going for charred pizza. Secondly, the guy who took my order said they would page me on the buzzer when my pizza was ready to be picked up. I waited and waited. Ever since Haven City Market in West Covina has had their Grand Opening, I've been wanting to offer my patronage and support to every single one of their businesses. Dough Dudes Pizza was one of the 5 biz that I hit in one day. The nice lady from Jaws Topokki recommended I check them out so I did. The pizza store front is okay... counter space is small though. I guess you don't need much space when you're being handed a pizza or two. They have standard pizzas, specialty pizzas, and build your own pizzas. At first, I came here with the intention to get half Hawaiian and half Vegetarian. However, I was curious about their specialty pizza called The Dude. Hence, I asked if I could get half Hawaiian and half The Dude. Initially, the gentleman behind the register informed me that they don't do half and half for their pizzas. Bummer! But then one of the owners asked what I wanted. I said half Hawaiian and half The Dude. He said they can do it, but would I be okay with the special sauce that came with The Dude. I was fine with it as long as I got my Canadian bacon and pineapple. With that said, I was so looking forward to my half and half pizza which they were willing to accommodate. Thank you Sir! Unfortunately, I didn't open the box of pizza when I was here. When I got home, I didn't get what I ordered and what they said they would accommodate. I was very disappointed. Instead of getting half Hawaiian and half The Dude, I got half The Dude (primary ingredients are roni cups + basil) and half roni only. Funny thing is that the receipt indicates The Dude plus half roni only. I specifically heard the owner tell the gentleman who was taking my order to indicate The Dude plus half roni only and he would know what that means which should have been half The Dude and half Hawaiian. Anyway, the pizza was very good... thin and slightly burnt crust with a good crunch. I love basil, but there weren't much of it... wished there were more of it. We ordered "The Dude" which seems more like a classic pep slice, but elevated. They live up the their name because the dough is fantastic. The crust had a great crisp without being too thick, and a perfectly cooked underside. The fresh garlic and chili oil in combination with the fresh tomato sauce provided such an indulgent bite every time. And of course the cheese had a great stretch and was super gooey straight out the oven. I know may not be feasible right now, but would love if they sold some pizza by the slice because they've got some other banging sounding combos I gotta try. But definitely doesn't dock any points.
