Lines were wrapped throughout the large market and I found myself weaving between carts and lines everywhere. There were several displays that I couldn't reach, but what I did get to was tempting! I browsed the extensive cheese and meat selections, all of the candy, and some of the baked goods in the center. I left with cheese curds, meat sticks, and a plastic clamshell of root beer barrels. I thought the prices were fair for the quality of the products. The store was massive and laid out in an organized way. They even had a seating area upstairs that I would love to come back and check out.

Fluffy and buttery too. 1 pancake was plenty..My husband happily ate my leftovers and commented on greatness. Service was attentive and food came fast. So disappointed with this place. For weeks I've been looking forward to the Black Raspberry pie…read morethat I had read about in many reviews. Are you kidding me? It was like a jar of preserves had been placed between 2 sheets of mediocre pastry. Hubby had ham (yuck) and shredded home fries, that were cold and tasted like they'd been hanging out on the grill for a few hours. 2 stars instead of one as the lady at the counter was decent enough to take the pie off our bill. Obviously the locals love this place, but I was very disappointed. ChatGPT had recommended it. Try it and see what you think. We won't bother going back.

Amish Country at its best!…read more This is a gem of a restaurant. We found this place thanks to the great reviews on Yelp. We were not familiar with Baltic, Ohio, yet we were so happy we found this place. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, it felt like we were eating in someone's home. Christian, the manager, could have not done anything more to accommodate us. He really went out of his way to enhance our experience. Our waitress, Arlene, had told us she had been there for several years and you could really tell this by her ability to help us through the menu. She wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied. The menu was one like I had never seen before. Everything from a large breakfast selection to Wagyu and Prime steaks. I had the best Ruben sandwich I had ever eaten ( that is saying a lot). We also shared the Wagyu filet with hand cut fries and sweet potato fries. The steak was sautéed with fresh mushrooms and onions. The steak was seasoned to absolute perfection. You have to try this. I have posted pictures of the menu. Don't forget a side order of homemade mac & cheese. Their prices are extremely reasonable considering the quality of the food and the impeccable service. The decor is perfect. Simple yet very pretty. They even have a nice area (living room style) that we hung out in until our table was ready. This Amish restaurant is the "best of the best". I will be back in this area next year and will be sure to make this my go to restaurant. Bravo to the staff and chef, well done.
