While they may have been great in the beginning, their service started lacking and falling. There were times that I would have to go over and mow her yard because Perfection had just been there and it didn't appear they had touched anything. They offer weed-eating, but that wasn't ever done past their first visit. The yard was never 'lined up' or edge. The straw that broke the camel's back was when their mower picked up a rock and it hit the driver's window of my mother's car. No one bothered to tell her about it. Instead she had to find out the following day when leaving for a medical appointment. She replaced the window. When she called Perfection to cancel service, the operative on the phone got hostile with her claiming that the mowers NEVER kick up rocks. That the mowers ALWAYS do a wonderful job. That Perfection REFUSES to accepts responsibility for the broken window, or their crap service. My mother's yard looks impeccable at this very moment... my brother-in-law went and did everything that Perfection was hired to do, and failed.

I contacted Matt Clayman about revamping my front and back yard. We had some irrigation problems…read morelast year and coupled with last year's drought we had lost most of our front and back lawn. Matt put together an outstanding plan to minimize the grass in the front, construct magnificent stone masonry garden beds in the front populated with lovely greenery and native plants. He also got rid of the home made stone path in our side yard to our fence door and put in a spectacular walking path surrounded by a wide bed of river rock. In the back yard, his team constructed another masonry garden bed which was perfectly level with our back porch and even has very wide stepping stones built in. In addition to all of this the Clayman Outdoors team re-sodded our complete front yard and the most negatively effected areas in our back yard. This was installed only after tweaking our irrigation system so that we wouldn't have further issues going forward. The crown jewel of the project has to be the driveway extension. It exceeded our greatest expectations. The driveway now has a good 3 foot extension on masoned stone. This extends from the cul-de-sac to our front door. It really serves both a practical as well as an esthetic function. Before our two cars were somewhat cramped in the driveway and we would have to walk in the grass to enter the home or bring in groceries. That is no longer the case! The cherry on top of this whole project was the installation of accent lighting. Our entire front yard is now lit with charming bed and path lights. We also have uplifting on our two trees in the front yard as well as the house. My wife constantly says she feels like we are coming home to a resort. We had Sullivan's at our first house in 2018 and they were fine. So, when we moved into our new…read morehouse last year, we hired them again. Since I work from home and my office looks out onto our front yard I can see when the crew comes. They're supposed to do the front and back yard. I noticed a few weeks ago they did the front and took off. So I called Sullivan's to complain. They apologized and sent the team back out a few hours later. Last Wednesday they came (the next time after the issue a few weeks ago) and once again did only the front yard then left. I called the company again to complain. They remembered the last incident and I was told a manager would be informed and someone would call me back. Here we are a week later and still no communication. In my opinion this is akin to stealing. I paid for the whole yard to be done but only a half job was completed. I have no idea how many times this has happened and I didn't notice, but I suspect quite often. The worst part, though, is that management never bothered to call me back or remedy the situation. That's terrible customer service. So, today I called them to discontinue their services. The person who answered recognized me. She made NO mention of my complaint and didn't ask why I was letting them go. It's clear there was absolutely no intention to provide us the service we paid for nor even acknowledge the situation. So, they're fired.

Pablo came on the day we scheduled, did a few tasks here and there with his assistant and promised that he would come back the next day to "finish the rest of the work." I decided to put my trust in Pablo and pay him the full amount $250. The next day, I waited for him to come, but ended up telling me that he had to schedule...Cut to 2 weeks later, and he's rescheduled the "completion of the task" over and over, to the point where I'm not sure what exactly he did in his first day of work. I gave him every opportunity to at least send me a text message giving me an update or a reason on why he's not responding for multiple weeks with a CLEAR answer on what exactly he still needs to complete. Crickets. Long story short, he ended up completely ghosting me for no reason...I'm not an unreasonable person by any means, if you don't want to complete the service, give me a heads up of what you did complete and what was left and I can at least get someone else. Eventually, I just gave up. I had to call TWO other Certified Arborist companies to tell me that Pablo didn't complete his work and there was still significant work to be done. Another $250 down the drain. All of this could've been avoided had Pablo simply texted me back a simple response: "Hey sorry I wasn't able to get to that. I have a busy schedule, but I recommend you find someone else to complete this this and this." but instead he for some reason just likes pushing things off, not showing up, and ghosting you out of the blue for no reason. Overall, I agree with the comments that Pablo is RUDE and is not good at communicating with CUSTOMERS. He's just simply not Professional in the most bizarre kind of way. Like seriously, does it take so much effort to send a text message to a customer that you didn't complete the task you promised to complete AFTER he's paid? Overall, Pablo is a strange man and I don't recommend his service in any capacity. Go with Beny's Tree Service - they've got a great Certified Arborist at very reasonable rates (and honestly better reviews overall). I have nothing but positive things to say about Beny's and nothing but terrible experience to say about Pablo, who apparently is Board Certified and touts his accolades, even though his professionalism is just not there.
