It seems like there's a limited understanding of proper technique, and a lot of what's demonstrated would likely lead to bad habits in the long run. The classes often lack structure, and it's difficult to follow a clear progression in the training. Speaking with others in the Jiu Jitsu community, I've heard similar concerns--many have noted that he curses frequently, which makes the environment feel unprofessional, especially when younger students are present. On top of that, unless you sign up for a formal class, you shouldn't expect any instruction or feedback from him. Speaking of the kids' program, I'd encourage anyone considering it to take a look at their social media. The classes seem more like unstructured playtime than a focused martial arts program, which may not align with what most parents are looking for in a Jiu Jitsu school.

Yes, it's a bit pricey but Master Seong and her teachers have grown on our family. She loves the kids she teaches & they all respect her. He sleeps well on the nights he attends classes, which is 2x(Max) a week. We tried it out with the free intro class, which was one on one with Master S. I usually grab groceries at Safeway or Chinese food from Happy Wok while he's in class. He has loved making friends & us parents wait in our cars or watch creepily from the windows lol.
