The skatepark's plan is just one flow bowl so there are no half pipes or anything, but it's still really great for beginners and intermediate skaters. It's not the closest skatepark to me, but I'll go out of my way to come here because I feel safe being here alone. From what I've seen, hours are 7:00am to 9:00pm. The skatepark is next to a couple basketball courts and a baseball field which both look well maintained. The kids playground is on the other side of the park so I've never gotten a close look at it.

I had no idea this place even existed, and I'm honestly so glad I showed up because it turned out to be such a memorable experience. You never really know where you'll stumble upon a true sense of community, and this gym is absolute proof of that. I've been to countless studios, gyms, and boutique fitness spaces -- some incredibly bougie, some incredibly pricey -- and yet the kind of community they wish they had is exactly what La Mariposa has already built. It's genuine, it's tight-knit, and it's been nurtured for years. During my visit, I met members who have been working out together for over two decades, which says everything you need to know about the atmosphere here. The class itself was fantastic, the energy was great, and everyone was so welcoming. The pathways are mostly level with some slight hills but they are not a hike. But the big problem is the pickleball courts. They have four courts on a tennis court. Tennis players DO get to play if they show up and the nets are rolled off to the side. The main issue, though, is there is a group of people who play who think they own the courts and make the rules. One guy threatened us with bodily harm - twice - if we didn't do what they said. (It was over using the paddle rack and we just wanted to play with our group and they said we HAD to play with everyone.) I It was an unpleasant experience for such a nice park.
