We also had an absolutely terrible, sleazy experience with another hot tub vendor who forcibly tried to get us to buy a tub from their location. Fortunately, we shopped out some other locations including Colorado Spas. They were upfront, helpful, and really supported us in navigating the right decision. They answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to get our hot tub delivered - including coordinating with a crane service and an electrician. While other companies were completely unhelpful around even making recommendations or letting us know what to expect with this piece of the puzzle (we have a mountain home, so not the easiest delivery), these guys made it all seamless and got the tub here in time for my 40th birthday (which seemed completely impossible - by how many months it would take for others to get the job done). Initially, we'd planned a big project but scaled it back to fit our budget, and they were so accommodating with re-bidding and adjusting the scope. They tackled several paver landings for us, handled electrical work that was damaged during digging (my fault), and trenched about 70-80 feet to install a spigot at the back of the property. They also replaced a large amount of mulch--about 13 cubic yards--and did a top-notch job. What really impressed us was how adaptable they were. Mid-project, we decided we wanted the entire front yard torn out and resodded. They had a crew out the next day, removed the old sod, brought in topsoil, tilled it, and laid the new sod--all on short notice. They even trimmed a tree outside the original plan and left the property immaculate afterward.
