We loved working with BRC! We were building a new house, had a basic idea what the kitchen layout would be, and saw a kitchen on their site that fit a few of our more specific needs. We live a state over so purchased over the phone, a little nervous, but when I flew in and rented a truck the cabinets looked just as good in person and the BRC crew was fabulous and helped me load it securely. It took a while to figure out how to piece everything together for our space and our builder had to fill out a few places where we needed something specific, but we love the character it brought to our house and we love telling people about how it all worked out. Purchased a used set of kitchen cabinets from Ben's Repurposed Cabinetry. It was simple and easy. I bought them off their website with the Buy It Now option paid with my credit card. Shortly received an email with my order number and instructions to make arrangements to pick them up. They were closed during hours that I needed to pick them up. ( I'm not from Colorado we were just passing through with a trailer). Ben was very accommodating and made arrangements for me to pick them up early morning. Ben's was a great experience from beginning to end! Their showroom is not overly impressive, but it does the trick of showing you a sample of what they have on hand. Then, a quick trip down the road to the warehouse and you can look over every piece of the sets you are interested in. They don't try to hide anything and are happy to tell you anything about the cabinetry that they can! The purchase process was quick and easy. When the time came to pick up the cabinets, they were ready for us, all hands on deck to help us load and tie down. All the men were extremely polite and helpful. We are extremely pleased with the outcome of our kitchen. After finding Ben's, it made our kitchen remodel do-able. We paid ~$5000 for all of the cabinets, dishwasher, double oven, sink, microwave and gas cook top. We were unable to use the cooktop and microwave and chose to buy a new sink. We did all of our cabinet labor and we only had to put some work on the sink cabinet as our pipes didn't line up with the opening the cabinet had. Ben's customer service was outstanding. We drove to Loveland, Co., rented a truck and when we arrived at the shop they put all of the cabinets in, filling the truck to the rim, carefully and meticulously. We have recently purchased mountain property that has four buildings on it that need cabinets. I could never afford to do this under normal circumstances and I was lucky enough to find Ben's recycled cabinets. The cabinets are very nice quality especially for the money and they look great. When I learned of them I was fairly intrigued and began receiving their emails to see what they had and, to hopefully find something to use in our 1960's kitchen that has been in desperate need of upgrade. In April they got a set in that actually matched the vanity we put in our bathroom a few years ago! So, we measured and reviewed the cabinets with what we needed and it would work! Ben is unoriginal and has poor quality service. Recently I have been searching for cabinets for my kitchen on many websites and I noticed a discrepancy. His website looks exactly like this website called Green Cycling Home and I have even seen an ad of his on Facebook Marketplace with the same pictures as the lady's on Green Cycling Homes! If he can't sell his own cabintry and work to gain business the right way, then he is not a reliable source. I got some office cabinets that worked great for a shop area. They are maple cabinets and much better than I could pick up at Home Depot or Lowes for a lot less money. They've got a few scratches on them, but more than functional. The best thing was they had some leftover granite from another job that was available for free. I got some rectangular pieces out of it and with some trial and error, worked it into a nice corner design with instant countertops. The delivery crew was great and very careful with them. read more
